The Wisdom of the Heartfelt Hierophant

I am resonant as I re-read something that struck chords in me 20 years ago. It stood and still stands as one of my faves, and of course it feels different this time. No longer an Initiate, I initiate myself, feel a new charge cascade in tingles throughout me like when you hear someone sing in just that way that wonderfully waterfalls an ablution inside you.

This time around, my Hermit-Devil character, assemblage of Magician on the Right, Priestess on the Left, this time with them married within me form is again made from the formless. The cairn on the path of this passage is not unconsciously passed by this time with sparkly eyes drunk on wonderment. To clarify, that was a good thing. To enter. To enter from a place inside where reasons are unreasonable. To enter fully, because my I Am must, I had to, and so I did. I had a choice, though I am My Am. I did not bow my sovereignty to Must then. I stepped into the unknown with it bringing in Tarot full force alongside Architecture,Art, Alchemy, Poetry, and Psychology. It may have been one of the most important and courageous things I’ve done. Fears then were simply signs to inform my awareness. Acceptable risk was even off to the side behind me, left somewhere in the dust. Being afraid was like anxiety and worry, a waste of energy. I had plenty of fear, though being afraid was not a quality of them. Being aware in a manner where fear was simply the wise Counsel of Nature, of what was, is, and potentially will be. I entered fully, without a net. I stepped past my own steps.

As I immerse in the fresh discovery of my previous, first footprints that began an important cycle back then, I pause in respectful Silence and cherish the wild intensity of my creativity then. I steep, aware and conscious of this milestone moment of a new cycle, passage into a new orbit. I feel like the serpent maybe does just before it bites its own tail. I live in the meditative moment where the world of the serpent experiences that quark of a millisecond AS it bites its tail, becomes the Uroburos, and disappears Forever to bleed itself out of the serpent, out of the tip of the lead into the circle.

New circles, such as the one I have just had the honor to experience, make all things go ‘round. Awake again, I step more fully into into my previous footsteps, their paired and alive, talismanic artifacts, and stand like a Temple on their unseen stylobate, their fecund made-of-earth foundation. We stand together as I breathe the joy of being refreshed. As we stand together, One, my heartbeat fuels the next evolution, the earth’s presence rises from my feet with their groundgrabber toes up and throughout me, and my future orbits begin to present themselves to come more into focus. I will not describe them now. That would be a disrespectful irritant of a grain of sand, an undue influence to their soft oyster newness. As a Creator, I am deftly familiar with the responsibility to be the rock under which freshly molted ideas hover under my watch as they acclimate to move and make form from the formless. No irritants allowed. No grain of sand. I’m not out to make a pearl. Here, in a new circle, the snake his skin shedded to artifact steps, the snake his skin not missed Moves forward.

Enough about me. Back to the book that transported me above to right here. As I immersed into this book this time, a particular line struck me as one of my favorite assemblies of words to date. It may stand as the most concise and clear statement about creativity and divination that hasn’t lost its heart to the analytical, hasn’t divorced beauty to forsake its heart for a mistress of structure. For sure it’s no skeleton in a biology class used with overt irony as fact to discuss living things. It’s skeleton, it’s structure, is embedded within it like a 4 of Pentacles hidden bridge, and it’s still possibly an invertebrate. I needn’t know that distinction. The snake, his skin not missed resonates throughout with the chords struck by what i will refer to as The Astral of Ancestral Divination, and Forensic Archeological Empathy. No old, desiccated Hermit sitting in a Hierophant throne here. This is the Hierophant, wisdom from experience immersed in the throne of the heartfelt. Enjoy this assembly of words, this quote from someone whose politics in life I firmly do without, whose work I respect and value to the utmost. If it whets your whistle, enjoy!:

Symbolic representation and imagistic writing are the pure hieratic forms of esoteric expression. Through symbolism, and through it alone can we read the thought of the Ancients. It is only through the symbolical that we will be able to coordinate the known elements of this great civilization and that the writing may take on its true meaning.    ~ R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz — The Temple In Manp. 19

Tarot. The Queen of Wands’ Empathy-Sight in Magical Mirroring

fire of life, life-acumen, actively energetic clarity directed to attract wants

fire of life, life-acumen, actively energetic clarity directed to attract wants

The Queen of Wands is a Magical Mirroring, the full energetic clarity of empathy with the natural leadership of not dissolving one’s boundaries as a chameleon… the full energetic clarity of far-seeing vision right in the moment wise in time in the moment. The Queen of Wands. True empathy without handing yourself over to the other. The Queen of Wands. True and full and confident perspective with natural leadership through and through.

~ END OF BLOG. The below is reference material from The Presence of the Priestess.” …except for a couple of… minor, experiential edits.~

The Presence of The High Priestess character in The Land of Mystereum

The High Priestess plays 10 parts in The Land of Mystereum, 10 very specifically different roles.  This came about from the amazing breadth and great deal of work I felt The High Priestess performs naturally in her role as the one who gives form to the formless.  Tha Magician sparked inception, whereas The High Priestess then form-gave conception.  It felt very natural to let the presence of the Priestess naturalize itself throughout these 9 perennial cards in The Land of Mystereum.

1. The High Priestess appearance.  As herself The High Priestess gives form to the formless connected to ground and sky, above and below? Conception. A visual story of an out-of-body experience or across-every-scale as a natural and total mode for this card.

2. The Empress appearance.  The High Priestess golden and pregnant connected not to ground and sky here, but to the two Empress Yoni-verse trees, carrying out the function she began in the completion of the task of The Empress’ “carrying to full term.”

3. The Temperance appearance. We see The High Priestess’ unconscious workings, the creature forces of the unconscious, brought forth into the light of day to layer in another dimension of vast connection.  The vast connection of above with below.  The vast connection of unconscious with conscious.  Temperance then as a metaphor for unconscious contents utilized naturally and consciously?

4. The Moon appearance.  The Priestess up close focuses on the drawing-down-the-moon ritual.

5. The 6 of Pentacles appearance, 2 of her.  The epic spiral of giving and receiving.  The Priestess sisters as two facets of her personality in more casual black and lavendar robe garb to continually spin-juggle Pentacle-worlds in this epic exchange.

6. The 6 of Wands appearance.  The Priestess, having drawn down the moon resonates from its other side to cascade an exchange of new energies down into your process.  Papesse? As, here The High Priestess is performing what is traditionally a Hierophant function of bringing spirit to the earth, yet in your Wands, in your Minor Arcana, in your everday life.  Present in the Minors is the Priestess exalting new qualities to enliven your down-to-earth spirit?

7. The Queen of Wands appearance.  Sees through mirage clearly and naturally.  Feels the full-on whole ‘nother world in a simple reflection.  Life inside the mirror, a whole ‘nother universe there?  Note, though, that the reflections here are not symmetrical reversing one another like in a traditional mirror.  Mirror mirror on the wall . . . with NO competition.  The Priestess plays this Queen with her mirror-magic of above and below, outside the mirror and at one and the same time within yourself.  The High Priestess focuses identity here to express a magical and clear nature in her energetic vision.  The High Priestess is wholly transformed here.  Suffice it to say, The Queen of Wands Gets ‘er done! NOW THE MAGICAL MIRRORING OF NATURAL AND FULL-ON EMPATHY.

8. The Queen of Cups appearance.  And, in The Queen of Cups the Priestess fulfillingly emerges from her cup, fulfillment carried to full term?  She is akin to a living Nautilus in the sea of emotion present to brightly wash through like great weather.  Also, have you noticed the Calla Lily energy coming from her hands as she moves through these cards?  The Calla Lily.  One of the few asymmetrical flowers.  Beautiful.  SO stunningly beautiful a flower.

9. King of Cups appearance.  And, The High Priestess finishes her World Tour 2010 of The Land of Mystereum emerging as the emotionally infused strength emanating from the King of Cups’ bicep.  That goes places for me. More than Jungian anima, the female spirit within the male.  More a mindbodybeautiful strength present in this King.

Oh, and Lest We Miss Subtlety

10. The World appearance in a slideshow of The High Priestess, The World, and Strength.  One of those hands up top in The World belongs to The High Priestess… and by the way, the other comes from Strength. Which is which?

This post was originally

This post was originally The Presence of the Priestess. Reminiscing on creating Mystereum… I drew 2 cards. The 7 of Pentacles from  the top Stone Card and The Magican pulsing as the heartbeat of the 7 of Pentacles from the bottom Treasure Card.

I feel that with the High Priestess’ grounded out of body experience coupled with the Queen of Wands and then those two coupled with the 7 of Pentacles and The Magician… it feels like I received a glimpse of eternity. It feels like I received an Inner Yod, the address of God.  I wonder if that address shows up on Google Maps? 😉

Monday Mystereum Tarot Mayhem

Monday Mystereum Tarot Mayhem

Monday Mystereum Tarot Mayhem

So, if you are similar to me and a lot of other Tarot readers, sometimes we see and read things in simple images, in a tree, in a group of people.  Well, I thought, what the heck, it’s Monday and I woke up on the bright side.  Why not read the 1st 5 spams in my spam email folder.  Heck, they’re free.

Spam Email As Alchemy? Serendipitous inquiries?  Sure!

So, here is my reading of the 1st five spam emails that were in my spam folder this morning.

Card 1 ~ Male Enhancement.  Do you want to increase your ejaculate volume?

10 of Pentacles

  • The 10 of Pentacles indicates prosperity and close relationships. A love of inheritances is also indicated. . .the kind you were born with! YOU! Practical stability and the tangibly material, physical world may be vibrantly infusing your intuition. Meld close relationships and prosperity. Enjoy this time of ties and enrichment where you celebrate your inborn inheritances!
  • So, it is indicated to be waaaayyyyy better to view my relationship with myself and others AS a form of prosperity, and be good with the solidity of what I have.
  • Alternate reading = You have plenty. If you want to enhance something, take wallet-enhancer pills.

Card 2 ~ Easy Insurance. Do you need a $250k life insurance policy?

10 of Wands

  • The 10 of Wands indicates courage shown along your path. There is an agility and a wonderfully strong balance of all you carry indicated. Here you may easily tow everything with the grace of your own body. Each twilight sky prefigures the coming of the night just as dawn loves the promise of the coming day. Love your wonderful new challenges as the twilight and dawn love the night and the day!
  • Notice you are carrying 10 wands and moving forward.  Heck, carrying 10 wands without dropping them is a feat in itself.  No matter the precarious nature of your balance, keep your energy moving forward without adding anything.  You have a complete bundle already.  So, nope, thanks for the offer.

Card 3 ~ Yaz Injury.

What?!! Yaz? I LOVED that band in the 80’s! “Only You” off of “Upstairs At Eric’s” is still the bees knees all pollinated n stuff.  Ok Ok, back to playing along, I’ll pull a card

Queen of Cups

    • The Queen of Cups indicates harmony in your emotional and intuitive realms. Relying on inner guidance and a flowing inner perspective that is thick and rich is also indicated. Your natural leadership is taking charge in matters of your inner life. Draw upon the wisdom of the ages with your emotions. This is a time when your strong imagination and creativity may sense hidden depths not readily apparent! Expressing your emotions confidently is indicated at this time.
    • So, thanks for the offer, but I think I’ll worry not a bit about injury regardless of what you name it, and concern myself more with going to YouTube and listening to “Only You” from “Upstairs at Eric’s.” I won’t use 20/20 hindsight, though . . . the head in butt vision.  You tend to bump into stuff in that Yoga posture. Plus, it’s dark and hard to see.  Eyes are open even if behind a blindfold.  Trust your vision and you’ll avoid injury.
    •

Card 4 ~ Affordable Health Rates. Insurance killing your wallet?

10 of Swords

  • The 10 of Swords indicates ruin and anguish, both physical pain and otherwise. Also indicated is letting yourself know that the worst has already passed. Rock bottom is a strong place to stand. Look up! Anything visible is probably something better, You have pulled through. take a big breath. Phewww!
  • So, the dog days of doing that are over.  Anything looks better from here!  I’ll look for those wallet enhancer pills instead.

Card 5 ~ Your Faith And Love In One. Do you know how to meet Christian Singles?

4 of Cups

  • The 4 of Cups indicates seeing one’s desires manifesting in the first signs of their success. Good fortune and good luck are also indicated. A pause is indicated which can be seen as stagnation on one hand. On the other hand, though, there is a still and powerful observation present out of a thorough responsibility to what is being done at this time. Focus your sense of responsibility at this time that is indicated to be thorough and inherent.
  • Hmmm, 4’s would indicate to stop worrying about the labels and live instead. Look at the new Cup born of the volcano.  A treasure of the earth!  Grapes come to mind.  Hmmm, thinking about communion and singing, “la la la they drink grape juice and I drink wine . . . Thank God I’m a Methodist.”  WAIT!  Phew! I USED to be.  No Welches in sight, but who’s SHE?!!

Thanks for playing along on today’s Monday Mystereum Tarot Mayhem!

Have a great week!

Tarot. Sunday Services. Moon and Temperance

Tarot. Sunday Services. Moon and Temperance

Sunday Services . . .

Short thoughts and visual arias on cards

The Moon and Temperance

May your intuition, your imagination, and your inner life reflect your identity as a key to the treasure of your magical, bad-ass self.

Best to your own alchemical team

magically mixing where there are no cheap-seats in your game of life.  Play well.  Play with the vibrant motions and emotions informing your intuition from The Moon and Temperance as teammates. Play with the vibrant strength of their inner motion YOUR WAY!

May the magical space between day and night that is twilight

also be a magical, continual space between above and below like the magical mixing enhancing strong identities that is Temperance.  May twilight remind you of the unseen and unmoved mover, and resonate through and through like the invigorating experience of a field of sunflowers.

Have a great rest of the weekend and a great week!

Driving Inner State Highways. Tarot Traffic

You know when you are driving

You know your driving personality pretty well, huh?  What is your Tarot reading personality?

There are 2 U’s in gUrU.  Do you kneel to the On-High when you drive?  Or, are you at a minimum twice as much U with no gurus anywhere in sight?  You’re not alone in that, however you responded.  Is there a clue to your Tarot reading style there?

How do y0u merge into other traffic when you are driving?  Well, you know how you merge.  I know how I merge.  And, I try my best not to disparage other drivers, though despite my best efforts there is more than occasionally still a “Drive like you mean it!” that slips out of my mouth . . . well, more like a verbal RPG really.  I think I keep it around 7 or 8 now, though, rather than the GOES TO 11 of years past.  Driving can be a people-watching experience like a moving zoo, though the Geico Gecko and your wallet might thank you more for some awareness as you are both spectator and actor.

On the same token

What’s up with talking about traffic and how any of us merges into traffic when Tarot is the order of the day on this blog?  Well, does how you merge in traffic provide you with useful clues to your Tarot reading personality?  Does how you merge into traffic reveal helpful resonances into how your imagination works?  I am thinking your driving style at speed in traffic in real time provides more than a simple glimpse of your Tarot reading personality.  Does your driving style actually paint a world-size picture of your Tarot reading personality?

How do you merge into the creative traffic in your Idea Solar System?  Wait!  What’s an Idea Solar System?  It is a concept in the Land of Mystereum dealing with the natural orbits of your ideas, how they weightlessly move in mind and into and as your work.  How do you merge into the creative traffic of your Tarot reading style?  Is each spread you work with a snapshot of cards that are really all verbs?  Is each spread a place of creation, a sanctuary of Inner State Highways speaking?  Don’t text while you Tarot.  It’s dangerous. 😉

I am going to pull a card about driving style clueing us in to our Tarot reading personality.   I drew XXI, The World card.

Is your Tarot reading style expansive and infinite?  When you master things does that mean you have no more to learn from them?  Does your mastery lead to further discovery?  What’s the style of your Inner State Highways when you drive Tarot in your readings?  What’s your driving style?  Take a little drive somewhere and see.  Is your driving style wonderfully similar to your Tarot reading personality?

The Tarot GPS with the sexy Aussie voice that distracts me when I am driving repeatedly with “recalculating route” will finally say, “You have arrived.”  I rather like that part.  I also rather like the new things I discover while she is recalculating my route.  What do you discover in your driving style about Tarot and the Inner State Highways of your Idea Solar System?

Enjoy your driving World!  And, X + X + I = 3, have fun driving around with the 3’s and . . .

The 3’s Birth Cards as Inner State Highway GPS

Here’s the 3’s Birth Card Blog, too.
Have a great one!

Tarot & Two U’s in gUrU

You know the old saying

There is no ‘I’ in ‘team.’ ”  You can always respond to that with a smile, “You’re right.  There’s no ‘U’ in this “team.”

On the same token

Think about this, though: There are 2 ‘U’s’ in “gUrU.”  Think twice before giving up the powerfully and uniquely complete being and voice that is U and Yours.

Take a look at

Your 2’s Birth Cards

What do you think about YOU as your everyday gUrU?  Is your simple breath a priceless prayer?  Maybe play with the Strength (XI, VIII) and Justice (VIII, XI) Tarot Tennis Game to explore further — racket and balls not provided.  Are Strength and Justice two unique sides of the same U coin?  Like the centaur Chiron and Sagittarius.  Half-person + half-horse makes for a uniquely complete being. . .and even Chiron was set apart from his kind further in his own, unique way.

Have a great one!

Twos: Birth-Placing Clarity

Tarot Birth Identities: The Twos
Judgment ~ Justice ~ High Priestess

Welcome to my Tarot Birth Card Identity Blog!  This blog is intended to be a simple overview of Tarot Birth Cards, a casual and concise walk-through of the groupings of Birth Cards to express some of the ways that they can contribute vital components to identity.  Also, I will layer in Birth Card Preludes afterwards to express the whole of each Birth Card grouping in a short statement.  I find that these Preludes, as I like to call them, are best stated afterward, later to be utilized first as triggers to remind one of how the Birth Cards can integrate an overall expression of the Birth Cards in a single voice.  Enjoy finding your own path with these, and look forward to hearing your own, personal “trigger” Preludes and Birth Card thoughts directly composed from your feeling-sense of them.

Note also how these Birth Card expressions and Preludes factor in to hook up and work with my videos like the Aces Four Potential and Twos To Pair:  Enjoy the correspondences of the numbers as they flow back and forth between the Major Arcana in the Birth Cards and each of the suits of the Minor Arcana and Courts in the videos.  Also, I encourage you to have some fun and come up with Preludes on your own for the Aces through the Tens, and as well Your Royal Court characters.

So, for example to start with a 3-card Tarot Birth Card combo, the 1st card can represent the person’s Outer Expression.  The 2nd card can be their Added Incentive.  And, the 3rd card can represent their Inner Expression.  So for example with the Birth Card Chart combo of a XX, XI, II; 20, 11, 2; Judgment ~ Justice ~ High Priestess:

20 is the Outer Expression    11 is the Added Incentive     2 is the Inner Expression

For a 20, 2 combo:

20 is the Outer Expression    2 is the Inner Expression.  A Prelude of your own making can create and make your own brand of an Added Incentive integrated, hiding in plain sight, and /or simply inherent from your perspective.  Enjoy the Prelude at the end of this blog, and may I suggest to utilize it as a trigger 1st next time you visit your personal, Birth Card combo?

So, let’s get started walking through the the 2’s shall we?

JUDGMENT ~ JUSTICE ~ HIGH PRIESTESS
[ XX ~ XI ~ II ]   [ 20 ~ 11 ~ 2 ]  (Strength is XI in Mystereum; Justice is VIII)
Note how the numbers of these cards add up to 2, and thus correspond with the Twos in general, and the Twos To Pair video.
So, in The Land of Mystereum you may find that a JUDGMENT – STRENGTH – HIGH PRIESTESS combination fits you more personally.  I look forward to express this grouping in a future blog.

XX Judgment

patience, respect, renewal, resurrection, feeling unseen seeds cracking underground

VIII Justice

balance, befitting, honest is-what-it-isness, Justice knows no loyalty

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Giving form to the formless, connections throughout the All all at once comfortably and naturally

Twos Birth Card Prelude: With Judgment ~ Justice ~ High Priestess as your Birth Cards you may often experience powerful renewals through your fair and far-reaching intuition.  A Birth Card Prelude can be as simple as a few words, and as inviting and expansive as the title of a book, the ever-evolving book of You!
See how this simple Prelude statement expresses the 3 character as facets of one personality:

Judgment ~ powerful renewal(s)                   Justice ~ fair and far-reaching                High Priestess ~ intuition

Putting them back together again: With Judgment ~ Justice ~ High Priestess as your Birth Cards you may often experience powerful renewals through your fair and far-reaching intuition.

The Judgment card represents your Outer Expression.  This is how most people ‘see’ you in the world.  The Judgment card is known for its ability to rejuvenate much as perennials wake up underground after their winter sleep.  With the Judgment card representing your Outer Expression experience, know that your patience can build fitting anticipation to put you in places long enough to see what crucial connections are missing. Keep sight of the fact that when things appear slow, there is often a lot going on in unseen places. Can this slowness be a clue for you to inspect what you expect, check your expectations at the door, and discern unseen things in a situation?

Justice represents your Added Incentive.  This is a card of equitable fairness and balance, and what many call authenticity and integrity.  The goddess Maat weighs your heart against her feather. Rather than only a for-the-afterlife Paradise gig, in the day to day when Justice is part of your Added Incentive, you can expect to feel, strongly feel, whether things are positive and healthy in your life. Is this one of your most natural talents, one of your most prominent developed abilities?

The High Priestess represents your Inner Expression.  This is a side of you that only your closest family and friends ‘see’.  The High Priestess as your Inner Expression symbolizes that you can influence a great many things with a happy and generous anonymity. You know the powerful worlds you create, that you gift. Do you have an inner gift to give form to the formless? Does your strength gift you the ability to take care and as well be taken care of openly and fluidly?

I look forward to express the JUDGMENT ~ STRENGTH ~ HIGH PRIESTESS grouping in a future blog.  Some people roll their number sequence with Strength as 11, and that is pretty cool I would say, divinatory choice that is all yours.  Stay tuned!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog, and find it useful in your process as you further find, emancipate, develop and enjoy your own, personal Tarot voice!

Until next time!

Jupiter’s Blessings,

~Jordan
