Welcome to the weekly Mystereum Tarot Interview With The Spampires! Here, spam emails are used to juice the humor-factor as free warm-up topics.  Here’s a mini warm-up workshop for you right in this blog.  Nothing to sign up for or schedule.  Simply a 5-card Land of Mystereum inspired exercise for some laughter for getting some hump-day warm-up wind in your sails. Watch the hot air, though fill up your sails with your own, warm wind.

The Mystereum Tarot Interview With The Spampires is a great technique for:

  • warming up for readings before you get going.
  • getting your celestial groove going with humor, as humor is a healthy, integrated, preventitive armor that requires no maintenance. Humor’s shinier than steel, weighs tons less, and is easy to carry on the go.  Easy to share, too!
  • people who have a difficult time saying “no”.  It’s a way to practice how not to be silent about “no”, by higher octaving the ability to say no FULLY to someone or something by stepping past the first reaction to get to the humor response . . . as I feel that responding to things that getcha with humor, dance-plays with the concepts rather than tit-for-tat learning them, AND often blooms gifts that would otherwise have been missed.  Passive-aggressive has distinctions, and silence IS a response.  Learn when you will simply ignore something.  Easy to do with ANY spam email.  It’s even easier still on the rest of your day when you bypass noxious bs and stick to the oxygen.
  • learning how “Laughter is the shortest distance between people.” ~ Victor Borge  Learn to laugh at your spam . . . plus, the cursory scanning you do through them before FLUSH can heighten your senses on the fly, assist you to quickly pick out the important things in the crowd.
  • discovering how it can be fun and very healthy to say, “I don’t believe you” as easily as The Queen of Swords would, and WITHOUT your way being the highway afterwards AS “My way is the highway” kinds of statements are rhetorical.  Think about it.  When people say something like that, they are certainly not receptive to ANYTHING you may have to contribute.  Give ’em a mirror as a gift and as you walk away, “Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, huh?”
  • finding the natural leadership present in the Queens that you can work with in your own interactions.

All Similar, Each Unique

So, if you are similar to me and a lot of other Tarot readers, sometimes we see and read things in simple images, in a tree, in a group of people.  Well, I thought, what the heck, I woke up on the bright side today.  Why not read the 1st 5 spams in my spam email folder.  Heck, they’re free.  And, if this doesn’t get you to search for buried treasure in your spam folder that isn’t from Nigeria, why not read the 1st 5 things you see where you are reading this?

I know from years of training that warming up and practice can often be taken way too seriously. Concentrate too much when you are cold, and brittle can appear. Similarly, sometimes making too much of the sonething which really bores the dickens out of you can limit the expansion and clear senses you have when you are warmed up and THEN really focus your energies on your activity whatever it is.

Do you get all serious when you throw a frisbee or watch a kite flying?  Even if you do, isn’t it a seriousness that is more of a Magician’s full-on focus that is magical?  Expert skill in play I say. Taking the time to make laughter is important

It sets a break or segue from whatever you were doing before like jumping around and shaking being all silly for no reason other than . . . to leave that previous moment or activity’s influence and really start fresh into your next activity.  It’s like getting a massage regularly instead of waiting for the “OH MY I need a massage” times.  Mental maintenance to me is like hygiene.  Do you brush your teeth?  Wash?  Well Brain Wash by warming up.  It’s not a coercive tactic.  This Brain Wash thingee’ll get you going more in just your own way!

So, here is your Wednesday Tarot Interview With The Spampires Intro

Here’s how to do an Interview With The Spampires Warm-up Exercise: Read the 1st 5 spams in your spam email folder.  You don’t need to actually read them, as opening them is sometimes not so safe, and certainly don’t click anything in there.  Use the spam title as the card topic, and the snippet of the first several words you see on the spam email list where you see the title.  Simple.  Title as card topic. Snippet text as inquiry.  From my perspective I was probably going to say no to them if I even spent the time in the first place.  I have new clients all the time, though, so a focused scan before trashola is a daily task.  So, I was going to say “no” and Tarot’s probably not going to change my mind about spam email merit, though it can certainly flesh out some good laughs to prime the pumper before I happily and dramatically click DELETE TRASHOLA FOREVER, and OH YES I am really sure, with a grin on my face that washes them away in the next moment forever.

Have fun & then remember to forget FORGET! Or, at least don’t footnote it. 😉  Forgetting is for getting. Makes more room for the good stuff.  Humor is memorable or it isn’t, and naturally healthy either way.

My reading of five spam emails that were in my spam folder this morning.  Today I chose them.  Like the 7-up game in 1st grade.  Make ’em “PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME” outstretching their thumbs louder and louder.

Use your own spams or the 1st 5 things you see where you are reading this as content and queries to make your own Interview With The Spampires warm-up exercise. Use anything you want to play with. Tarot. Mystereum. The Presence of Strength + Bonus Exercise

Throughout Tarot in the Land of Mystereum Major Arcana cards make cameo appearances in other cards to help connect you with the Tarot story.

They cameo visually in many places throughout the deck, and add layers of exploration throughout the 192-page Imagination Primer companion book.  Major Arcana characters cameo in both other Majors and as well in Minors.  This Presence-of cameo feature integral to The Land of Mystereum’s Fabric is to lifefully add to and inform Tarot character development through the tools of visual story and allusion ~ allusion being a function of those coolio and quick criss-cross-applesauce connections that are made or you make that enhance the nature of relationships between things . . . make more friends and companions of things rather than pointing “over there” in regard to them, like the Narrator says by action, “you GOTTA meet so-n-so!”  I also felt that this multiple-cards-in-a-card visual allusion story technique furthers the Mystereum Tarot deck in a way so The Minors . . . though they can keep the integrity of their Everyday aspects . . . so that the Minors were not minimized.

Remember

that in Mystereum every Minor has at least one person or figure in it.  You beg to differ saying, “Oh but this card and that card only have a scene or even simply geometry. Jordan.”  Yes, they do, and they have you peering through the portal of the border.  Don’t you tend to step in through that portal, as it’s your reading, right? So, that makes 1.  Every card has at least one additional spectator or performer.  You!  Pretty good stuff in Mystereum.  Pretty good stuff like Harold or Milo or Alice or Harry but better. It’s better ’cause YOU’re there with a constant invitation, though.  A constant invitation to step in through the border and participate and / or watch and read the Tarot Mind Movie playing in your reading from your personal best seat!  How do you play with YOUR cards?  How do you watch your Tarot Mind Movies.  Are you a wallflower?  Are you a sunflower?  A bit of each depending?  Do you like to pause and research?  Do you like to sight-read the track at speed for time? Either way and neither other ways, Good for You!

as cards themselves journey around through The Land of Mystereum is at the heart of the very structure of Mystereum, it’s Fabric.  We could call this opening up the epistemology of card divination, epistemology being philosophy of the study of how we know things.  We could call the card cameo appearances a Tarot etymology that expresses snapshots of the origins, the lineage of each card’s archetypal and divination personality in their ongoing and living births to be developed through their appearances in the Empress-style Yoniverse of your readings.  Interestingly enough, we can also simply say, . . .

Can You pick a face out of a crowd? Or, a hand?

“Cards in Tarot in the Land of Mystereum inform one another.”  Cards in the Land of Mystereum literally inform one another in the visual story of the cards where they appear.  They don’t start doing this after you learn them. They already do this,, and more-so start doing this after you meet them.  Be inquisitive.  Notice them in a “what’s that?” way, can pick their “face” out of a crowd so to speak, or a hand?  Takes a little doing of course, yet play it like a movie . . . “Who’s that? What is THAT thing or person doing here? Wait, is that so-n-so’s hand?”

Presence-Of feature in The Land of Mystereum.  It is there to assist you in card inter-relationships and to actively work with your intuition.  It is also present to further inform the Imagination Tools gifted by each character in the Imagination Primer book.  Pick a Major Arcana character in your Tarot in the Land of Mystereum deck.  Then, one by one, go through your deck.  See what full portions of the card and what out-takes or detail vignettes appear in other cards.  Once you have walked through your deck and pulled a card’s hangouts, the Presence-Of places of the card you have chosen, ask yourself . . .”How does this card contribute with its appearance in this other card?  What clue to this card’s identity does the guest appearance accentuate?  How does it flesh out the card’s story?  Are these cards the same yet simply at different scales?  Siblings?  Friends?  Tenuously connected?  Dreaming or imagining in hmmmmms?  For example in the Imagination Primer the 3 of Swords expresses that it has never seen a Tower though has heard that one is formed when lots of unresolved 3-of-Swords moments get together.  Something beyond its current grasp is formed when this occurs.

So, on to the Tarot Presence-Of Strength Cameos

Strength plays 10 visual storytelling parts in The Land of Mystereum , appears in 10 cards.  There is the Strength card of course as XI, and as well XV The Devil, XX Judgment, XXI The World, 4 of Wands, Page of Wands, 2 of Cups, 4 of Cups, and 6 of Cups.  It felt very natural for Strength to appear in this way as a perennial story-thread of card characters that further alludes to and contributes personality to the sense of place throughout these 9 cards in The Land of Mystereum.

Why doesn’t Strength appear more or less?

Well, maybe She + her He-Lion really does, and then again there are 9 appearances which 9’s mirror express more components of her natural fluency with her inner animal voice.  This Mystereum visual character dictionary of storied appearances reaches out to symbolically spice up the deck in many places, like this 9-charactered stage in Strength’s play.  Mystereum is not a deck of card soliloquies or monologues in a play, but expert skill in play IN a (theatrical) play.  The whole deck is inter-related both in visual and spoken story, and each card embraces their identity as well. The Land of Mystereum is really a land, a place of divination in community with itself within and about where “All Similar, Each Unique.”  Strength plays 9 gig, 9 sets in the 78 one-act Tarot plays in Mystereum.

9 Strength Cameos

1. XI Strength

Strength appears of course as Strength ~ indicates a natural fluency, not control, a natural fluency with one’s inner animal voice.  She is beyond taming the beast.  Her animal is integral to the personality of her voice.

 

2. XI Strength cameos in XV The Devil

  • anima and animus, she-and-he-inner-spirit appear to temper ego. She’s on the left offering grapes.  She is one of two in control here, wielding fluency.  The Devil is not in control.  She-and-He-spirits are.  They can be imps themselves and play with earthly desires.  They also embrace their passions fully.

3. XI Strength appearing in XX Judgment

  • as the woman with offering-up-receiving hands on the right.  Who is the guy on the left?  And, that kiddo or midget on the left?  Does that kiddo character appear in the 5 of Wands?  We’ll have to see sometime in another Presence-of cameo article.
  • appearing here, she can be representative of the power of a naturally conscious voice, the feminine receptivity to Judgment’s awakening or rebirth or resurrection or epiphany.
  • Refer to XV The Devil, and in XX Judgment she is on the right now uplifting newness, the resurrection of the perennial in a naturalized garden.

4. XI Strength cameos in XXI The World

  • Look closely up towards the top.  One of the hands gracing the infinity of The World is Strength’s.
  • This is a subtle cameo as she lends the natural voice of her living touch to The World.
  • Strength reaches in to focus the natural clarity of The World’s infinite and infinitely dancing relationships.

XI Strength cameos in the 4 of Wands

  • She peeks in from the (unconscious) left to freshen the established energies that are placed on the right as her energies pass into the presence of the magical Wand-orb centered at the base of the card.
  • A visual HeLLO bringing new surprises to enhance the already established energies.  She’s the one who brings those amazing pastries.

XI Strength cameos in the Page of Wands

  • She brings fresh energies to speak to Your Royal Court.
  • She’s up there at the tip of the Wand on the right.  Well, half in, half out like The Hierophant on the left.

  • She’s on the right ~ conscious.
  • Her inner-outer voice complete, playful in its natural fulfillment of giving and receiving at one and the same time.
  • Her outer, His inner.  She’s on the right ~ conscious.  He’s on the left ~ unconscious.

  • She presents the earthly treasure of room-for-another that emanates from the volcano, the volcano itself a Yoniverse of the earth.  WAIT!  Are there more than one?  Volcanoes? Yes.  Earthly Yoniverses emanating?  Would seem so.  What do you think?  The whole world feels to be a living and birthing thing.  Babies.  Geysers.  Volcanoes.  Chrysalis-Cracking them all, huh?

Wednesday Tarot Treasure Mid-Week Warm-Up

Following up on Monday’s Mystereum Tarot Mayhem blog, Wednesdays are for a mid-week mini-workshop for warming up when you are already into your week. Nothing to sign up for or schedule.  I simply provide you with a 5-card exercise to warm up your humor juices at speed in your week. Wednesday as hump day?  Neh, Wednesdays are for the higher octave of laughter, so life won’t be a string of Thursdays, or Sisyphus Wednesdays.  It’s hard to be too in your head when you’re laughing.

So, here is a great technique for showing yourself your own healthy, integrated, preventative armor that requires no maintenance. Humor AS a warm-up reading exercise:

  • to use humor to warm up prior to your readings
  • to get surfing on your celestial groove with humor.  Humor’s shinier than steel.
  • great exercise if you have a hard time saying “no” as a way to get past the silent and unsaid “no” by higher octaving your ability to say no FULLY to someone or something by stepping PAST your first reaction to get to a 1st and more evolved response with humor . . . as I feel that responding to things that getcha with humor often blooms gifts that were about to be missed.  Laughter is the shortest distance between people. ~ Victor Borge
  • Warming up is good for your muscles before exercise.  Warm up for your readings.  You don’t want to pull a psychic muscle or feel the Rx of not being warmed up fully. Let your smiles and laughter fill up and flesh out your tanks.
  • to directly experience how humor can be fun and very healthy, and even experience the health of being able to smilingly say, “I don’t believe you” as easily as The Queen of Swords does.
  • to use humor to find your own natural leadership like the Queens have.  They are certainly not bores, huh?

What do you see in a tree?

So, if you are similar to me and a lot of other Tarot readers, sometimes we see and read things in simple images, in a tree, in a group of people.  Well, when I made up this technique I felt what the heck, I woke up on the bright side today. . . Why not read the 1st 5 spams in my spam email folder?  They’re free.  I am pretty sure they will be there.  And, if this gives get me the opportunity to more earnestly search for buried treasure and misplaced emails in my spam folder.  Heck that crapola from Nigeria that occasionally shows up . . . Why not read the 1st 5 things I see when I open my Spam folder?  And, this technique was born!  I am doing this each Monday and Wednesday, so sign up and follow along . . . share, Tweet, and fly back around for some (hopefully) laughs.

Laughs are like geodes.  They open you up to the treasure of your Inner Inheritances.

Reading Spam Email As Warm-up With Humor.  Treasure buried in your spam? Sure!

I know from years of physical training that warming up and practice can often be taken way too seriously while one is doing it, and then you’re already tired of serious when it’s time to get serious.  Sometimes making too much of the same bores the dickens out of the expansion of warming up. When, simply turning up the music and naturally doing your activity casually safely warms up your suspension be it physical or psychic.

Do you get all serious when you throw a frisbee or watch a kite flying, or watch the waves at the beach?  Not many people will stare at a tennis court, though even non-surfers will watch the waves.  Even if you do, isn’t your staring a seriousness expanding at the level of a Magician’s full-on focus?  Magic?  Leads to expert skill in play, I say.

A Wednesday Warm-Up? A Scenic Overlook Segue In Your Week With Spam

Consider this a restful scenic overlook on the trip of your week, a place to laugh.  It’s a great place to stretch before getting back in there to ride out your week strongly.  Read the 1st 5 spams in your spam email folder.  You don’t need to actually read them, as opening them is sometimes not so safe, and certainly don’t click anything in there if you do.

Use the spam title as your inquiry topic, and the snippet of the first several words you see on the spam email subject line AS your inquiry.  Simple.  Title as card inquiry topic. Subject line AS your inquiry.  From my perspective I was probably going to say NO flat out if I even spent the time in the first place before clicking the flush of Delete.  I have new clients all the time, though, so a focused scan in my Spam before it’s trashola is a daily task.  So, I was already going to say “no”, and Tarot is probably not going to change my mind about spam email merit, BUT it can certainly flesh out some good laughs to prime the pumper before I happily and dramatically click DELETE TRASHOLA FOREVER, and OH YES I am really sure, with a grin on my face that washes them away in the next moment forever often cracking open the geode of treasure in the next thing I do..

Take the time to make laughter

Laughter sets a break or segue from whatever you were doing before like jumping around and shaking being all silly for no reason other than . . . to leave that previous moment or activity’s influence and really start fresh into your next activity.

Following up on Monday’s Mystereum Tarot Mayhem blog, here’s a mini-workshop for you right in this blog. Nothing to sign up for or schedule.  Simply a 5-card exercise as it came to me yesterday smiling big remembering the amount of laughter I had writing the blog, and that others conveyed they had reading it . . . I bubbly-faced smiled as I realized, “What a great technique for showing people:

  • how to warm up for readings and getting your celestial groove going with humor, as humor feels to be a healthy, integrated, preventitive armor that requires no maintenance. Humor’s shinier than steel.
  •  who have a hard time saying “no” how to not be silent about their “no”, by higher octaving their ability to say no FULLY to someone or something by stepping past their first reaction to get to a humor response . . . as I feel that responding to things that getcha with humor often blooms gifts that were about to be missed.  Laughter is the shortest distance between people. ~ Victor Borge
  • how it can be fun and very healthy to say, “I don’t believe you” as easily as The Queen of Swords would.
  • the natural leadership present in the Queens in action

So, if you are similar to me and a lot of other Tarot readers, sometimes we see and read things in simple images, in a tree, in a group of people.  Well, I thought, what the heck, I woke up on the bright side today.  Why not read the 1st 5 spams in my spam email folder.  Heck, they’re free.  And, if this doesn’t get you to search for buried treasure in your spam folder that isn’t from Nigeria, why not read the 1st 5 things you see where you are reading this?

Spam Email As Alchemy? inquiries of Buried Treasure?  Probably not, though Sure!

I know from years of training that warming up and practice can often be taken way too seriously.  Sometimes making too much of the same which bores the dickens out of the expansion when really focusing on your activity whatever it is.  Do you get all serious when you throw a frisbee or watch a kite flying?  Even if you do, isn’t it a seriousness that is more of a Magician’s full-on focus that is magical?  Expert skill in play I say.

So, here is your Wednesday Tarot Warming Up Workshop Intro

Read the 1st 5 spams in your spam email folder.  You don’t need to actually read them, as opening them is sometimes not so safe, and certainly don’t click anything in there.  Use the spam title as the card topic, and the snippet of the first several words you see on the spam email list where you see the title.  Simple.  Title as card topic. Snippet text as inquiry.  From my perspective I was probably going to say no to them if I even spent the time in the first place.  I have new clients all the time, though, so a focused scan before trashola is a daily task.  So, I was going to say “no” and Tarot’s probably not going to change my mind about spam email merit, though it can certainly flesh out some good laughs to prime the pumper before I happily and dramatically click DELETE TRASHOLA FOREVER, and OH YES I am really sure, with a grin on my face that washes them away in the next moment forever.

Taking the time to make laughter sets a break or segue from whatever you were doing before like jumping around and shaking being all silly for no reason other than . . . to leave that previous moment or activity’s influence and really start fresh into your next activity.

So, if you are similar to me and a lot of other Tarot readers, sometimes we see and read things in simple images, in a tree, in a group of people.  Well, I thought, what the heck, it’s Monday and I woke up on the bright side.  Why not read the 1st 5 spams in my spam email folder.  Heck, they’re free.

Tarot. Mystereum. The Presence of the Hermit

Presence-of Card Cameos . . .

Major Arcana cards make cameo appearances in other cards throughout Tarot in the Land of Mystereum.  They appear throughout Mystereum in multiple cards, both other Majors and in Minors.  This is to add to, to inform Tarot character development through visual story and allusion.  I also felt that this multiple-cards-in-a-card visual story technique furthers the deck so The Minors . . . are not minimized.

This visual expression of the cards themselves journeying around The Land of Mystereum is at the heart of the very structure of Mystereum.  We could call this opening up the epistemology of card divination, epistemology being philosophy of the study of how we know things.  We could call the card cameo appearances a Tarot etymology that expresses snapshots of the origins, the lineage of each card’s divination personality in their ongoing and living developed births of their appearances in your readings.  Interestingly enough, we can also simply say, . . .

Can You pick a face out of a crowd?

“Cards in Tarot in the Land of Mystereum inform one another.”  Cards in the Land of Mystereum literally inform one another in the visual story of the cards where they appear.  They don’t start doing this after you learn them. They start doing this after you meet them, notice them in a “what’s that?” way, can pick their “face” out of a crowd so to speak.  Takes a little doing of course, yet play it like a movie . . . “Who’s that? What is THAT thing or person doing here?”

Have some fun opening up and exploring this cameo appearance Presence-Of feature in The Land of Mystereum.  It is there to assist you in card inter-relationships and working with your intuition, to further inform the Imagination Tools gifted by Mystereum’s 192-page Imagination Primer book.  Pick a Major Arcana character in your Tarot in the Land of Mystereum deck.  Then, one by one, go through your deck.  See what full portions of the card and what out-takes or details appear in other cards.  Once you have walked through your deck and pulled the hangouts, the Presence-Of places of the card you have chosen, ask yourself . . .”How does this card contribute with its appearance in this other card?  What clue to this card’s identity does the guest appearance accentuate, how does it flesh out the card’s story?  Are these cards the same yet simply at different scales?  For example in the Imagination Primer the 3 of Swords expresses in a way that something beyond its grasp is formed that,

So, on to the Tarot Presence-Of The Hermit Cameos

The Hermit in The Land of Mystereum plays 4 visual storytelling parts, appears in 4 cards.  There is The Hermit card of course, and as well The Hermit character makes Presence-Of cameos in Death, Ace of Wands, and 2 of Wands.  It felt very natural for The Hermit to appear in this way as a perennial story-thread of a card’s character further alluding to and contributing personality to the sense of place throughout these 4 cards in The Land of Mystereum.  Why doesn’t The Hermit appear more?  Well, maybe he/she really does, and then again there are 4 appearances to 9’s mirror his 4-cornered world of inner identity and illumination.  This Mystereum visual character dictionary of storied appearances reaches out to symbolically spice up the deck in many places, like in the 4-charactered stage in The Hermit’s play.  Mystereum is not a deck of card soliloquies or monologues.  The whole deck is inter-related both in visual and spoken story, and each card embraces their identity as well. The Land of Mystereum is really a land, a place of divination in community with itself within and about where “All Similar, Each Unique.”

in The Hermit card visually expresses the story of shining a light on your mysteries and confusion, turning over the pretty rocks of your beliefs to discover the treasure they hide.  With The Hermit discover your outer stillness as you actively walk the cloister of your mind.  Look up through your crown into your Psychic Sky.

I like that Mystereum’s Major Arcana characters explore The Land of Mystereum much like Harold and Milo explore their strange new worlds and find them enlightenly entertaining.  Alice does this too, though, I don’t know her as well as Harold and Milo, and Mystereum is about higher octave yang energies and putting them to conscientious use.

  • Hermit image on both forward and back flowing banners.
  • inner life is the herald connecting past and future.
  • through The Hermit all things are continuous much like The Hermit may be the Psychic Synapse of experience.

  • as the one who cracks open the alchemical egg, the crucible of night, into the day.
  • as the one who compasses and squares a location to give it genius loci, making location into place with the energy of crafted identity.

  • Ace of Wands as source of genius loci.

  • BECOMING the alchemical egg, the crucible of night, that has been cracked open into the day.
  • AS the maker of the puzzle pieces of night and day in the Psychic Sky.
  • Analogy of The Hermit AS twilight in the Ace of Wands, the energetic place of beginning ALSO as the magical space between, the moment after crossing the Psychic Synapse, the first concrete step IN a new place.
