The Empress plays 3 parts in The Land of Mystereum, 3 very specifically different roles. This came about from the amazing breadth and great deal of work I felt The Empress performs naturally in her role as the one who carries things to full term, the Yoniverse being that from which all emanates. The Magician sparked inception which is formless, whereas The High Priestess form-gave conception giving form to the formless, and then The Empress carries this new life to full term. She is like an archetypal, higher octave Queen of Pentacles. It felt very natural to let the presence of the Empress naturalize herself throughout the 3 Major cards in The Land of Mystereum.
1. The Empress appearance. The Empress of course appears first as herself. As herself The Empress is the crazy-eyed crone formed by a canopy of trees. She shows her age as her age tells stories. The High Priestess character, now in golden glow, is fully pregnant and will act as the Empress’ sacred vessel from which to emanate. The High Priestess here midwife’s herself AS the portal of the Yoniverse, and this is no temporary function.
2. The Emperor appearance. The Empress’ Trees gift out a special tree to the Emperor. He is within his tree. He is protected, hidden in plain sight in disguise much like King Lear checking in on his troops without disturbing them as to his presence. How is this a special tree? Why would he put down his sword and crown behind the tree from his troops? The Emperor rode in on this tree. Note the roots. This tree is the Emperor’s horse which has lied down and transformed into a tree. The Emperor rides in on the horse, and then goes inside the horse. Not like Luke in Star Wars, though. At a single gesture his horse will rise back up and take him where he needs to go.
3. The Hanged Man. We see The Empress here AS The Hanged Man’s Tree with him umbilicaled from a strong branch while activating his crown chakra. This tree carries the knothole-birthmark of sacred depths ringed by the Uroburos as a reminder that transformations have come before, and will come again.

So… rather than sitting around smoking hope with your dreams. Begin to build foundations under them by transforming them into goals. Bring them through customs from the unconscious into reality by studying them, discerning their components, and setting deadlines accordingly. Soon enough you’ll be giggin’ the smiles. Carrying your dreams to full term and making them come true does come with a problem, though. You then have to be inspired to create new ones! Make sure to make room for them in both your air traffic control and piloting, and of course their home on your ground.

Sounds like Friday is a day whose all-over-the-map topics are seemingly on leading people to dial in to Presenteeism at work? Friday feels to be a day custom made for the specialists in the Department of Redundancy Department. Let’s let their wisdom get this day’s topic on topic so we can be on topic and express things on topic. So. let’s consult the Department of Redundancy Department about WTH to do with these Fridays we so love and yet even in our enthusiasm seem to become multiple focus days even for some of the most intently focused people.

Well, Fridays are pretty simple aren’t they?
Using the example of how I expressed what The Department of Redundancy Department is doing above, figuring out the best course to be actionable and effective is relatively simple. When you are pulled multiple ways AND want to do them all, STOP! It’s a lot like the WTH and hootin’ laughter years back when I imitated “Top Gun” with the kids in the car years back. In my bright yellow car. It was no speedster, but sunflower-bright-bees-would-fly-in-like-it-was-flower kinda bright it was, and I was feeling the WTHeck can I do. They wanted me to race the tricked out sportster revving their engine as they had cat-called out the window. Not rude, simply kids winderfully responding to “OMG THAT CAR MUSTA COST A MILLION!” kinda thing. And, of course I find that dangerous unless on the track. Too many kiddos-chasing-a-ball-into-the-street variables. But, it was Friday, and I wanted to play, too.
So, “I’ll race ’em!,” I said
And, here’s where the Friday, how-to-be-actionable-with-lotsa-things-in-the-mix idea comes full circle. I nodded to the guy like we were gonna lay rubber GO! Became completely focused through the front windshield at the road ahead and the red light above. Pressed my foot into the brake with the clutch in as I swung my brake-foot heel over to rev rev rev rev . . . and LOL glanced at my rearview mirror when the kids were all stirred up and wouldn’t notice in the background, and noticed a cop car two cars back behind me . . . tried to hold back my smile, and when the light turned green I bellowed out, “I’ll just hit the brake and they’ll fly right by! That’s how you win, right?” . . . as the other car’s smokin’ tires jettisoned it across the intersection to quickly become smaller and smaller and WHOOSH the cop car flew right by. See? And, you thought I was dealing with the car beside me.
The kids were confused
The kids were confused . . . of course for only just a second in that wide-eyed-dropped-jaws slowly looking around kind of way, and then you saw their smiles start to form out of the mayhem as they started bobbin’ around fake-pushing each other around laughing. “DOOD, did you see that? That cop just FLEW . . RIGHT . . .BY, justa yeah right by. HEY! Maverick said that in the movie last night! You tricked us!!” I smiled as they kept doing the I’m-turning-into-teenager masterful command of the obvious statements to keep cool present by acting like the world needs to stop and provide fanfare for whatever just happened . . . as I looked away from them in the mirror and proceeded normally across the intersection, they just hip-hop bobbed back in to, “Dood, Did you see that?” “Oh Dudette, ya saw that, right, un huh?” I may have never had so much fun just normally crossing the intersection like it was normal on a Friday having so much fun on a Friday.

And, there’s the lesson to assist you to enhance the effectiveness of your Fridays. STOP!
STOP~, When the light goes green. STOP on Fridays, for just a little longer than normal, and let all the things in play fly right by so you can see them and focus on them ONE . . AT . . . A . . . .TIME. Don’t multi-task. That’s a myth. Yeah yeah, the studies say women can and men can’t. BS on both. They were looking for lines in that study, and they missed the orbits. You don’t kill things when you look away. Things may be out of sight and out of mind at times, but they don’t cease to exist when you look away.
Visualize each area of your day on it own pace as a juggling ball
Get all of these juggling balls going in their elliptical orbits in your mind. Like juggling, only one thing at a time in your hand. STOP! Look at your hands. Look at the ferris wheel of things above. GO one frame. STOP. Next thing in your right hand? Last thing now in your left hand? GO one more frame. STOP. and another . . .wait . . .and another . . .wait . . .and another and another and let ’em get going back flow-orbit smoothly as you juggle them in your mind . . . and, here’s the lesson . . . don’t miss the subtle evolution that continues as it presents itself in the same sentence from one presentation to the next . . . WOW, the Department of Redundancy Department had it right up there . . . and here’s the lesson.
Take your hands off the task. Stop juggling by . . .
The juggling balls are smoothly and fluently negotiating their orbits smoothly as you subtly re-place them into orbit one at a time fluidly like WATTA. Like BUTTA. As you continue juggling all the juggling balls representing your areas of focus smoothly, as you continue juggling smoothly, allow them to continue in your mind as you slowly take your hands away. Friday’s a car that’s already started. Get your hands on the wheel and out of the engine. Get your hands on the wheel and steer. Get your hands on the wheel and GREEN LIGHT! Whatta you do?

There’s your Friday Imagin-Action thought. In the summer of 2005 after being self-employed for several years, I started “taking Fridays off.” I was one guy, a one guy sole prop architecture shop. I had to complete weekly file management and administration and accounting for each and every project, do the overall accounting so Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable existed in the sole prop shop, make my Office Depot run, and all the other things too numerous to list. Friday became a “STOP! I’ll hit the brakes, and they’ll FLY RIGHT BY” day, and my business began to run like I had multiple employees . . . which then set the priority of “I DO want Fridays off, so I will make it a priority to be able to hire someone.”
So, on your Friday each week, get your hands on the wheel, eyes on YOUR road
Let the weekly cycles of your Fridays be the juggling balls above. Even give them different colors and give each juggling ball in each Friday a different color in your mind. Once you get the juggling cycle of what you focus on in YOUR Friday, slowly pull your hands away and really get a sense of how each one orbits. 5 RPMs? 500 RPMs? 5,000RPMs? Get into the multiple-things-going-on-smoothly Hip Hop groove of the things in your Friday. Hip Hop into a sense of fluent fluidity with all of them like a one person drum circle. Work with this here and there each day throughout your week. Next week we’ll cover Friday in another way so The Department of Redundancy Department can rehash this blog to show you how to use it with even further expertise.
Take the time for laughter. Take time to find the laughable in any situation
It sets a break or segue from whatever you were doing before like jumping around and shaking being all silly for no reason other than . . . to leave that previous moment or activity’s influence and really start fresh into your next activity. Finding the laughable in no way disrespects even the grieving most difficult times. It celebrates their goodness by bring you even MORE present when you are with them.

3 Predominant Expressions Of Magic?
I would call the spiral energy the perpetual present with its own inner customs agent of the horizon all around linking it to past and future. Is past memory? Is future dream? If we remove the hinge pins of time from the equation, memories and dreams can orbit with one another weightlessly in mind, and are of the same family. They are not the same, though very very similar. They are an integral feature of our Idea Solar System as put forth in Tarot in the Land of Mystereum.
I feel that the assertiveness of the force of creation and the magic of energy and creation, though potentially distinct, are as well facets of Nature’s personality, the personality of any Place Of Creation. It is not that I take issue with Ted’s presentation of the 3, I simply feel they work so well together that I would bullet-point them as a single expression. And, I would add:
making decisions as doing so directs and orchestrates the momentum of things which tends to magnetize them to their aim, or intent or intention to manifest something.
clarity of focus as it tends to open up portals of vision, and clarity of vision is pretty dang magical.
Magic is a lot like Psychic Synapses Between And Around Your Cards
Yesterday I presented a technique about how to get living connective tissue to bridge between cards and connect them more lucidly in your Idea Solar System when reading Tarot cards. Today I will let the technique flow outwardly to gift you another technique: The Blooming Card Technique. I am a gardener, so I’m a geek for this kind of stuff, just love it! — click for the free 13-card Death As The Master Gardener Tarot Spread in a Powerpoint. Hint, it’s waaaaayyyyy at the end of the article.
So, today I will show you my Blooming Card Technique. I find it to be a rockin’ ally in those readings where a card is really standing out in ways that aren’t making me so sure I trust my reading of it. I came up with the technique because just like us, sometimes cards really transcend and stand for a soliloquy in ways that spread their magic across the garden like a blooming flower.
The Blooming Card Technique
When you receive a card that shines in wholly new ways, and you are both surprised AND want to hear it out AND to not want to minimize the gift it is shining to you . . . try this . . .
Give the card a little breathing room as you meditate on its wonderfully new message in all its glory AND unfold the petals of its past and future. Visualize or literally pull the card that comes before it in the deck, and the card that comes after. So, if you get the 3 of Swords, for example, unfurl its past petal of the 2 of Swords and its future petal of the 4 of Swords. This will rarely minimize the effect the card is having. Remember, I’m a geek for gardening. Rather, it will serve to give further strength to the card’s newfound message by amending the soil around it, give it clearer context to spread its bloom.
Blooming A Tarot Card In Action
So, I’ll pull a card. I pulled The Queen of Pentacles. Perfect for this is acceptable. lol The cards do that, huh?
So, let’s say I am SO resonantly astounded by what this card has to say in a reading that I want to Bloom it. I will visualize the card before it in the deck, and the card after it. Easy on this one. I will unfurl the card-petal of The Knight of Pentacles coming right before it, and The King of Pentacles coming right after it.
If you are working with an Ace of any suit, take a bit of time to order the suits from your most preferred to least preferred, or if you are like me, I like ’em all for different reasons. I am very Wand-y, and for example, I order them Wands, Cups, Pentacles, Swords as I am very Wand-y, sometimes windy, and I feel it takes all the other elements to make a Sword. So, order your suits, and then you can know which King will come before your Ace, and as well which Ace will come after a King. Though, if you are working with a card in your 1st suit, you might drop back from the Ace to The World in the Majors, and to The Fool if you have a King that is from your last suit. Ok, ok, where’s the damn picture of the card Bloomed with its card-petals either side? Here ’tis. Here’s an example.

If you are working with the Majors, you can go from The World forward to The Fool, or back from The Fool to The World OR make a choice using your suit orders. Go back from The Fool into your 4th suit, and forward from The World into your 1st suit. And, both if that suits you.
I also like to look at the card you are focused on as my hands embracing in Namaste in the garden with my hands together as a flower bud, and as I unfurl my flower-petal-hands to open palms up the before and after cards appear in my hands and the focus card is the flower’s center.

I say, “I think”, as I feel there is merit in Bonnie Cehovet’s statement that, “. . . but that has to be disruptive in some way.” From my perspective, and I have heard many conflicting ideas on eclipses as of late from my astrology buddies, lunar and solar, yet with this one being a rare central eclipse, I felt them reaching somehow in statements that sounded all too reasonable, and too. . .too, “that makes too much sense to believe.” The statement, “reasons are often unreasonable” came to mind, and I smiled feeling a lot more comfortable eclipsing all that chatter and feeling into it myself, divining it.
So, why not work that out right here in a blog in one take kinda thing? That’s how I do most things anyway, them not taking an hour or two, but more so taking my whole life up to that point with a “let ‘er rip n build something” where the meaning occurs in the act, with the meaning AS the act. Heck, I don’t really know if I layered that wisdom into the stories told in Tarot in the Land of Mystereum or if building it, Mystereum taught me. I can say that mastery, one way or the other, led to discovery. Maybe no matter if I AM Marco Polo’s hull after a voyage, or the starry-eyed-in-anticipation person standing on the dock as the hull reveals and unfolds it treasures at my feet. Maybe both. Maybe neither. Certainly not nether.
Let’s start with 4 features: the 4 big ole archetypal Tarot ideas for the eclipse of The Sun, The Moon, and Temperance — as the moon will be in Saggie, and Temperance is ruled by Sag. The Sun and the Moon are kinda necessary for this lunar eclipse gig to happen. They intermix in this central lunar eclipse as an alchemical rue due to a more mundane gig, though. . .Earth. Respecting that, it feels to be fitting to bring in another, The Empress as Momma Gaia to represent earth. Then another, The World, as the universe of an alchemist’s crucible wherein all 4 intermix. So, that’s 5. The Sun. The Moon. Temperance. The Empress. The World. Before this gets ad infinitum out of hand, before the roller coaster dynamic of a multi-layer chess tennis match between them all unfolds on Wednesday, and I ask you to smile and fasten your seat belts. . . it seems prudent, WOW I actually used that word for once. . .It seems prudent to pose a centerline or nucleus of some questions first. Pose them not for what we will see, but for more expansive focus toward further opening up vision. Vision, the kind where you don’t say, “the sky’s the limit,” as that is limiting. Simply look up. Point to it. It’s right there. The sky is then equivalent to sight, what we see or want to see. Thinking bigger than that, that seems to be what I am calling vision here. Seeing the powerful limit beyond the sky that is given by vision. Maybe the questions coming up are my own boxes of the blind-spots of expectation, of sight rather than vision. That’ll have to be up to you.
So. . . . . . .
How much more unconscious and depthfully intuitive can we be made as we simply gaze right out at the not-there-in-the-sky-hiding-in-plain-sight central lunar eclipse moon? Do we see further in when looking at, into, its darkness in the darkness of the night?
Maybe the experience is like a natal astro chart of someone I know with Neptune and Mercury 4 degrees from one another in Scorpio? Basically, someone being born with a foot on both sides, where even taking a walk takes that person multiple places at once where those places are all mostly always integrated together in a single experience that seems normal to them? Hmmmm. . . Someone who sees psychic contents as easily as looking at art in a museum? A place where the autonomic, everyday devotion of breath is the prayer, the ongoing meditation? Seat belts, please. 😀 Here we go. . . .
Hmmm. . .dark in dark. Is this an anomaly of an antinomy, the totality of inner opposites. . .yet an antinomy of a totality of inner sameness, the moon and our intuition going into the dark of our own earthly shadow? Pictures! How? What’s there to see with vision? I have another question also coming to mind that I should preface before I blotto-transcend it. With the yin-yang symbol, the black spot being more than a beauty mark in the white field, is the spot really a psychic wormhole? A psychic wormhole where you go so far into the light as to become dark, and wormhole through the spot POOF to the dark field. . .and then the other way you go so far into the dark that POOF you come to the light dot bright-spot and POOF you wormhole again to. . . . I rather like that activation of the symbol. But, enough of the question-preface of that scenario as it seems small now. I sense a larger question:
What happens when the dark goes into the dark?
Does intuition get deeper, where the Moon, the bright eye of intuition in the night sky. . .goes dark? Deeper intuition? A huge sense of a loss of bearing? Vast expansiveness afloat in total clarity in total darkness, a Hanged Man moment you cannot see? Do you experience glimpses of eternity from your known depths of the realms of your creativity and imagination and experience? Total dissolution of self, or is it more not an annihilation of self but more fully a self-realization of the far reaches of one’s infinite inner divinity plunging further into the night so to speak?
The Penumbra Missing That Is A New Experience. Alternate title? No, I think I have said what I want to about the coming eclipse. . .there’s a title of a poem rattling around in that alternate title. . .the now-subject of this blog dedicated to the full lunar eclipse on Wednesday. I’ll run that, too, since I am warmed up. If you cannot see the eclipse in your area, maybe so much the better. Look at the moon and close your eyes with your own Momma-Gaia earth-shadow eyelids. Fully eclipse the moon yourself passing dark into dark, a void between stars, an odd, “hmmm, of a dark spot the size of the moon.” It may be a blank darkness in the night. It may be another imaginative wormhole to take you places and dissolve false connections. Again, that’s for you to decide and/or feel / experience. I will be curious what the core resonance of dark passing into dark is for everyone. Until then, I better write that poem while IT seems to still be warm. . .

The Yoniverse of the Empress’ tree. Emanating from under the arched canopy of her naturalized forest garden. Emanating with a golden and pregnant High Priestess .
The Hanged Man reflects his tree’s posture. Hanged Man’s clarity AS one with nature? Natural inner nature of clarity?
The Emperor INside his horse-laid-down as tree. Note the horseleg roots across the ground. The sword and crown. A statement of no need of weapons or crowns when going to inner places? Judge your place with no implements of harm to Self? Integrated armor simply being places of health and well-being?

Welcome to my Tarot Birth Card Identity Blog! This blog is intended to be a simple overview of Tarot Birth Cards, a casual and concise walk-through of the groupings of Birth Cards to express some of the ways that they can contribute vital components to identity. Also, I will layer in Birth Card Preludes to express the whole of each Birth Card grouping in a short and integrated statement. You may also find the Preludes to be expansive catalysts, too.
I find that these Preludes, as I like to call them, turbo-readings of sorts, are best stated afterward, later to be utilized as initial triggers to remind one of how the Birth Cards can integrate an overall expression of the Birth Cards from a single voice. And, they can of course be utilized first in a way like a Significator Card comprised of, in this case all 3. Enjoy finding your own path with these, and look forward to hearing your own, personal “trigger” Preludes and Birth Card thoughts directly composed from your feeling-sense of them in Your Tarot voice.
Note also how these Birth Card expressions and Preludes factor in to hook up and work with my videos like the Twos To Pair and Grounding with the Family of the Fours. Enjoy the correspondences of the numbers as they flow back and forth between the Major Arcana in the Birth Cards and each of the suits of the Minor Arcana and Courts in the videos. Also, I encourage you to have some fun and come up with Preludes on your own for the Aces through the Tens, and as well Your Royal Court characters.
So, to start for example with this 3-card Birth Card combo, the first card can represent a person’s Outer Expression. The 2nd card can be their Added Incentive. And, the 3rd card can represent their Inner Expression.
So for example with the Birth Card Chart combo of a XXI, XII, III; 21, 12, 3; The World ~ The Hanged Man ~ The Empress:
21 is the Outer Expression 12 is the Added Incentive 3 is the Inner Expression
For a 21, 3 combo:
21 is the Outer Expression 3 is the Inner Expression. A Prelude of your own making can create and make your own brand of an Added Incentive integrated, hiding in plain sight, and /or simply inherent from your perspective.

The World card represents your Outer Expression. This is how most people ‘see’ you in the world. The World card is known for its ability to endure and support many complex systems. With The World card representing your Outer Expression enhance your natural ability to work with boundary-less concepts across the board. Know that you cast a wide net. If you have strong Neptune in your Astro Chart may I suggest to wring your sponge often to squeeze out foreign intensities that may fetter your clarity, and enhance and reinforce clear expressions without unnecessary inclusions. Influence can be grand, though after experiencing intensity notice how cats and dogs, other animals, too, literally shake it off. Some thing this an adrenalin dump. I find it freshening, shakes off encumbrances, like switching gears to enhance movement.
The Hanged Man represents your Added Incentive. This is a card of being afloat in clarity, and what many call enlightenment. And, enlightenment may not be a constant state once reached, may not even be a stable state. Though, from my experience it happens more than people know. Glimpses. Tastes. Theosophic visions, i.e. awakedreams. I’m not qualified here to make a distinction between an awake dream or theosophic vision and an hallucination. A Psychologist might better speak to that. When The Hanged Man is part of your Added Incentive you can expect to feel clear and comfortable in most any situation in your life. Are you able to stand in intense situations and simply experience? Are you able to not absorb, and simply be present and experience without words, simply provide a mirror of truth to whatever comes your way?
The Empress represents your Inner Expression. This, like the High Priestess, is a side of you that only your closest family and friends ‘see’ — notice the character in The Empress all Golden and at full term. It’s The High Priestess character in Mystereum who gave form to The Magician’s formless inception. She conceived. The Empress then carries that sequence to full term from her Yoniverse, that from which all things emanate. The Empress as your Inner Expression symbolizes that you nurture abundance as you carry things to full term, willfully, actionably, and naturally. Do you have an ability to be the consummate, soulful gardener of your life? Does your vast strength come from within?
And, to simply return to the Prelude . . . the 3’s Birth Card Prelude: With The World ~ The Hanged Man ~ The Empress as your Birth Cards you have abilities to feel expansively afloat in clarity as you abundantly carry things to full term, and I would like to show this again to show how simple this simple Prelude statement expresses the 3 characters as facets of one personality . . . how simple something that is both integrative AND expansive can be:
