1st Informal Review
Jordan! What have you done here? No fair! I opened up ImaginAction and was captivated in the Creation Story. I always jump ahead. You know that. So, why didn’t I. I as captivated! The Creation Story. What a story so wonderfully told. Ok, THEN I finally jumped ahead. Instructions? Leap-frogged right over those. Nah, who needs ’em? Honestly, though, I came back to them after. Everything has such a magnetic pull without tugging. Just natural.
Before I knew it I had nestled into a spread, read one of the questions, and something happened. These questions aren’t just deep. They’re easy to go deep with. But, something had happened… Jordan, what have you done here? How did you do this?!! And, I’m so glad you did! Before I knew it was I was doing a reading… with only the ImaginAction spread and with NO cards!
When I finished and looked up, I saw my cards on my reading table untouched and on the ready. I never even thought to use them. I just so easily immersed into the ablution of ALL you’ve done here. This is WONDERFUL! Just WONDERFUL!
I do confess, I wanted a second helping. So, I lovingly reached over to my cards with “You’ve gotta see this.” Did my shuffle up ritual, and OH MY! Thank you Thank you. The 2nd reading was amplified in such depthful and wonderfully meaningful ways. My cards were like kids jumping into the pool with these luscious pools of art. Just those in themselves… Wow. How Many Questions Are In It?
78 full color, original Divination spreads times how many Questions? 3 or 4 at each spread at least. Some have more card positions, some have less. Let’s just say… a lot of them as that clocks in at 234 at 3 per… uh, more than that. Possibly a lifetime of them? Though, it’s not about how many questions it’s chock full of. It’s about what these questions do, what they help people build for themselves.
Useful and robust clarity that was conceived when I allowed myself to commune with and be inspired by my own artwork. Not in an ego pat myself on the back way, in an If art could speak English (or your 1st language), what kind of spread would it tell me it was? What’s one of this painting’s messages? Wow! That really started something in me…
… like Monty Python and Carl Jung and Julia Morgan and Anais Nin met Larry Leprise’s funeral prep. Who’s Larry Leprise you ask? Oh, he’s the inventor of the Hokey Pokey dance. You see, after Larry passed, his body had been properly and sacredly prepped and dressed, made ready for the coffin and the next journey. They put his left foot in… and OH BOY that’s when the trouble started!

Thank you Charles for discerning it to be time for your voice to step up. Much appreciated. We’re all different, like everyone else. All similar, each unique. Maybe no-one is born equal, though we’re all born with equal value as human beings. Rather than equality, shall we make a move towards equanimity?
I’m reminded of of a professor showing up at the Black Belt Tae Kwon Do Class I was instructing in college for P.E. credit — read in: wage theft under the guise of credit completion, honor back then, I didn’t yet know any better at 19. Though, kinda the wrong environment to show up making trouble, though hey, some people are also trained to have a pre-Approved Darwin Award Applications.
I laugh, it was straight out of a Kung Fu Theatre movie with someone coming in the challenge the Master, except here, humorously, with no martial skills… or even a thoughtful demeanor.
In shoes mind you in the dojo, she jumped the knee wall and bolted across the floor towards me spewing all the while with words I won’t repeat here how I needed to remove the 2 black people and 3 Korean people from my class or else!
Smiling, calm as a daisy, though not going down like one, “Madame, this class is based on a system from Korea, and occasionally the way I teach it, from China or from within me. I’m not sure of your geography acumen other than knowing how to get to a fanatical church, so I’ll throw you a bone. Koreans, Chinese, and Africans are closer to this art’s geographical origin than you or me are here. Maybe we should both leave and stop wonderment and curiosity and experience and serendipity and exchange from continuing to poison the world.”
I still smile. She Was SO beautifully conflicted, both wanted to agree and also was in total (alleged) disagreement, because I stood her up with one hand (voice) while the other hand yanked her carpet from under her… though you also saw the check mate on her face. “Hmmmmmpopphhh.” And, she spun, and was towards almost gone. She stopped and turned around before she straddle-moved over the knee wall to which I, “Madame, there are rules that are made to be broken. So, next time you visit, make sure to take off your shoes.”
She bolted out as fast as she came in. Guess her fanatics sent the wrong busy-body, certainly not a hostage negotiator. I turned… “Class, can we agree that the last one to get to class locks the door?”
One of my students, ironically 2 Dans higher ranking than me (another story) chimed in, “Mr. Hoggard I thought you said that conflict wasn’t the point, not to pick fights or further them, and you just destroyed her with words. Isn’t that furthering one?”
I smiled and bowed my head. Looking up…
“I did say that. One part of not picking or allowing fights is… Be peaceful, but know when to let motherf***ers know so they DON’T start in further. I should clarify further about violence. To yes or no it requires thoughtfulness… hmmm. Class, here’s an example, ’Man who have mosquito land on testicles learns very quickly that violence is not the best 1st course of action.‘ That’s how I got rid of her as the mosquito.”

I love that Wyrd brought up the triplets, especially here with Christina being a Four kinda person. Quarter note triplets in 2 versus 3 is a pretty beautiful cadence.

I especially love that you brought it up, as the architect in me nodded at the 3 when I first saw this series, though it was as engaging as a prayerful breath, as I moved right along. I nodded as 3 is the 1st number associated with beauty. Once 3’s, then 2 is also beautiful as a paring or coupling, and 1 as identity.

There’s a potential seed for rockin’ conversation about numbers and numerology here for 1 through 9 + 0. (As a concept rather than a number). I feel 9 is the most dynamic number, as it folds over itself, the only number to do so, and it is formed of 3-squared. 3 is then a seed of 9, dosing itself with more of itself as 3-square to POOF, become 9. 9 folds over itself? What are you saying, Jordan?

Rather than going into my 1 through 9 as I’ve written about it almost too extensively to yet be concise, to have been concise, and somehow now I am again in the place of the repeating number ellipses NOT being able to be concise about numbers…
I’ll simply share these 4 videos as an Ode to Christina’s 4-Ness-ness. 3 videos mine + 1 Cristobal Vila… which I have to say is MO’ BETTA than mine. Not a judgment or personal slam on me from me. He simply WENT places with it that I full-on resonate with, full-on EXPRESSED it without words.
I feel there is an almost shamanistic quality to feeling someone’s intensity in their presence, through the universe of their eyes, that wholly intense beauty of Nature’s power itself spoken in the eyes or the place, genius loci. Beauty is ablution. Presence is ablution. Youth and age and craggy-faced memories telling stories are ablution. Intensity comes around to focus, conscious or unconscious, and immersion.
There’s a purity I feel in Intensity, and honesty. An honesty like Nature’ll kill ya, and it will also support and embrace you very much when you find your own Nature within. Do we really never get there? Are we there yet? Nah, I feel we get there all the time. Any inspiration or big smile or torrential cry… those are temporary glimpses of how YOU are enlightening.
Like sunbeams coming through the trees. And, it’s not poisoned by experience. I feel enlightenment is tempered by it. Not saying I’m enlightened, though I’ve had plenty of Hanged Man Moments so to speak you are CERTAIN their might not be a way off the mountain of the experience so to speak.
Though, maybe it’s not 100% uncut identity that is intense, as that’s not intensity, that’s potency. Like cranberry juice. At 100%, uncut, it’s toxic. Legally, it has to be mixed with apple juice or other. There it is. Immersion in intensity is…:

Here’s a link to my Pinterest board, Presence As Architecture. Happy, sad, glad, mad, pensive, joyous, dangerous, etc etc. These people, animals, places, and things strike me with their presence as being Natural. That gets me every time. It’s like sharing a hot spring, or a forest path. The people and animals and places and thing in these pictures haven’t said a damn thing to me, with words, and they may have just told me all I need to know… Each and every one of them. People, places, and things. Animals. Call ‘em nouns. Except these nouns? I’m fairly certain these Nouns have consumed their share of verbs.
Instead of saying Enjoy!, I’ll not color it with anything other than me expressing a portion of my perspective above, and to say, Experience what you feel when you visit these Verb Eaters who I feel have… Presence As Architecture.
