Long After… What Hurts the Most

07 Jul

My mistakes are all OFLs.

Opportunities For Learning.

Every. Single. One.

They each contributed to where I’ve arrived today. Aaron Lewis’ work resonates with that for me.

What messages have not wasting trouble gifted you?

The greatest fear for success should not be failure. It should Be succeeding at something that doesn’t matter.

~ Francis Chan

Proceed as if success is inevitable.

My Internal Civil War Ended.

How? I took the long road home is how. Inspecting my expectations to see what was actually really there about me. Not overlooking myself such as is the heartbeat of the

5 of Pentacles Mystereum Tarot Moment

So,

So, you’ve watched my 5 of Pentacles Mystereum Tarot Moment, all 1 min 06 seconds of it… don’t blink!, though you still have questions like, Well, that sure sounds nice Jordan, though however am I going to see past the trigger of the hurt and see what you’re saying in the video? I don’t even know what that means That’s fair, except not really fair, because that would be cruel (Thanks Bare Naked Ladies).

What’s really the issue with being actionable about that. Rather than me responding to the fiction of my response to my fictional question to just Devil’s Advocate myself for some taffy pull fun to test specs with my work, how about this instead… Read a gourmet poem by Christina Schmidt, MA, that I’ve linked below. Kintsukuroi Me. It has just one image with it, just one. And, spare few words. I feel that reading her poem and seeing the picture and applying the title to yourself… hmmm, might just do the trick, or at least crack the glass ceiling of the hull of an important seed… Sovereignty.

If it doesn’t, you and I can move on. Everyone’s different , like everyone else. And, I feel Christina’s KintsuKuroi Me applies to everyone, especially once you’re Sovereign. Maybe even THAT’s when you can utilize your personal gold even more. THere’s a lot to explore in the higher octaves and depths where your roots fly as high as your roots finger deep. No Icarus here. Daedalus and Chiron BayBEE.

What Cornerstone

What cornerstone of your life do you brace against that sends veins of gold throughout you from your Mother Lode. What Mother Lode of a cornerstone do you brace against to sidestep the shallow roots of quick fixes, where storms make Your oak tree take deeper roots… to become… A strong tree has no worry about storms?

How have you not wasted trouble, used your imagination to actionably dive in, and come out the other side with effective and living actions That serve you better to increase the value of your work?

How do you self-nourish?,

and how good are you at receiving from another, or others?

How good are you at receiving?

How much do you pay attention to cherish the leading (stain glass) of your scars and transform them into the gold that is experience… like the Japanese vase that more beautiful because it’s been broken like Kintsukuroi?

Extra intensely valuable poem by Christina Schmidt, MA, I came across today that I edited into this post post-publication. Great stuff! She deftly dials this in.

No doubt, all my OFL’s are essential to who I am. BTW, for awhile I wasn’t getting the “Danger! Will Robinson” warnings and then they started up again. Yikes!

Thanks for your comment on the OFL’s being essential to who you are. Yes, they’re integral to me as well.

I wonder on the ‘Danger! Well Robinson” messages. Do you regularly delete your cookies and history? Understood it can make web bookmarks not so fun as you keep having to re-do them, though I’m wondering if there’s something that could be cleaned off your computer. Do you have a firewall? KasperskyLab or BitDefender or Norton?

You know my computer is so old that my HP protection is no longer available and that may be part of the reason. The thought of replacing it all feels like a herculean task considering all the data I have on it. I’m not so adept that transferring it all or cleaning it up feels daunting. lol

Oh! I gather that’s what’s going on. I had that years back on an old computer that I kept going for just about ever. My office was broken into and it was stolen when I was traveling for a few days. I came back, and OH! Well, gotta get a new one and I’ll… OH! OOPs. Both my backup Zip drive and jazz drives were plugged into it, so THEY were stolen, too. I remember just starting to chuckle. Yes, a little minor hysteria in the laughter as I had a presentation the next morning. I smiled, “Look at the bright side. I don’t have to transfer all my data… because I don’t have any data.” Lolz. I only lost 12 years of work. That’s on me for not having a true archive system back then or a proper server NOT in the office. 🙂

It may feel daunting, though you also may feel refreshed with how zippy fast a new one is. I don’t know your system, and I’m not really the tech guy to be able to advise how to make it easy. And, I’d just be prepared that some stuff won’t make the transfer due to file incompatibility due to the potential span of time between upgrades. That you say HP protection does clue me in to… when you say old… you mean it. 🙂

Yeah they warned me last year that I was done for, but it’s still working. I had one that crashed once and that was horrible, but this one has all my scripts on it. Some are online, most are not. I think if I get those and some of my stories, saved, Ill be good, I just need to quit procrastinating is all.

🙂 “done for and still working. That sounds like my career at certain times in y life. LOL. Ahhh, don’t be a quitter and stop procrastinating. Hop on the web and get some sort of Mac or Apple product. Come over to the dark side. LOLz

I have several Apple products, but my computer is in SLC, I just need to go get it. I left it there so my son could edit this film we did last year. With the lock downs, I’ve not ventured far, so it’ll be awhile. Do you know if there’s a way to just store items that I can later pull up to my Apple without doing the drive thing? I do have iTunes on my HP and an iCloud, but I’ve not tried to transfer things to that. Is it possible? I have so many discs floating around my office, so that doesn’t work for me, plus discs are no longer “the thing” anymore.

I’d say upload it to iCloud and then download later only as you need. ICould like a storage unit. After a year or two and you haven’t needed those things, lose the storage unit And those things, or well them. Though, with iCloud you can park them there indefinitely so long as you retain access to it.
