A New Idea Comets Through My Imagination

Is

Is Karma simply Spirituality’s version of Religion’s Dogma of guilt and Shaming? Both hierarchy-reinforcing and manipulative crowd control?

Rather

Rather than leaving things to The Fates, or concern of karma or shame or guilt what about… reasons are unreasonable and Dharma? Why explain yourself? Why petition? When Sovereign, isn’t the only Principal in the Principal’s Office you? For me the only Principal in the Principal’s Office is me, and I don’t keep office hours with that position.

Can Ego be Good if it Keeps Your Center Looking Good and Healthy?

Is Karma simply Spirituality’s version of Religion’s Dogma of guilt and Shaming? Aren’t they both just crowd control to reinforce hierarchy and manipulatively facilitate people to induce crowd control via being afraid or worrying And take care of perpetuating it on their own. Both worry and being afraid are forms of anxiety rather than being the excellent radar of fear informed by the wonderful vanity of the ego that says, Well, you look better with a head than without, so fear blips the radar to say, DUCK!

Is Anxiety a Creativity Silencing Narcotic?

Does anxiety numb and silence creativity and self-knowledge into sluggish and ingrained conformity rather than to explore and experience things like The Silence of Light By Louis I. Kahn, or Chthonic Numinosity AS Self by Jordan Hoggard to supplant boring and desiccated Hierophants who are stubborn and unbending traditionalists. Basically, The Hierophant on a bad day, rather than you finding YOUR OWN inner Hearfelt Silverback Gorilla Hierophant? Toot my own horn? Sure, somebody’s gotta start the band.

Isn’t

Isn’t sluggish and ingrained conformity a mud from which even a Lotus won’t grow? That’s stifling. No Soul Gardener’s gonna amend the soil with that shit. Too hot. Burns the roots. Even cow manure needs to compost and rot before it’s safe for the plants in your garden. I think that conformity shit might have a half-life in regards to composting. Yeah, it’ll be ready… never. How does never work for you? Oh yeah, sign me up for some of that shit.

Notice all the little people up and down HieroDood… wisdom, new spirit, activation, down-to-earth spirit

This

This post is a comet of an idea that just passed through the orbits of my Idea Solar System otherwise known as imagination. Go figure with NEOWISE in the sky.

It’s always a crank idea, until of course it catches on.

If you’re talking about anxiety arising from external stimuli then I’d say yes. If you’re talking about endogenous anxiety then I’d say no, and maybe quiet the opposite.

You bring up an interesting question, Karen.

Is there really any endogenous anxiety, imply we were born with it a priori? I would say no. From my perspective the anxiety that comes from within is simply ingrained further back, though not innate, though we may feel it is so lost in the dawn of the early portions of our life.

Do you feel endogenous anxiety, anxiety coming from within, is innate or acquired, or from some other source?

Again, great statement that begs a sanctuary of a question.

The short answer is that I don’t know.
It’s extremely difficult to draw a line between nature and nurture. In some ways I think of it as being a bit like type I and type II diabetes in that some anxieties are remedied by changes in environment/lifestyle and others aren’t.
Certainly it’s very plausible that they are ingrained further back and maybe further back than early portions of our life. Consider transgenerational stress inheritance whereby stress can result in inheritable changes to DNA methylation leading to altered expressions of genes in offspring which in turn lead to decreased tolerance to stress…

Yes, I was hoping you’d layer that in. There are certain lineage pieces. I feel we pick them up in THIS life, though the magnetism of our DNA is tuned to pick them up until we resonate otherwise. THe DNA methylation example is excellent… and so on and so on and… down the road it goes the wrong way due to the decreased tolerance to the forces applied… of stress… leading to a predilection to strain.

“tuned to pick them up until we resonate otherwise” Now THAT I like a lot! 😁

I was thinking on this further this afternoon and a Crow landed beside me. I asked him – What do you think? Nature or nurture? He turned his back and showed me patches of white feathers. He said he’s falling on the side of Nature but he’s a Crow and it’s not easy to get peer reviewed… Something about when crows get together there’s a murder…

Yup, though Crows get their nurture from Nature, are what they are, and we get nurtured away from our Nature even when Mentor/Tormentor (parents) had the best intentions. Which puts me to lose the nurture, forgetting is for getting, to find one’s Nature, and continually re-nurture oneself from Nature.
Plus, yes on Crow peer review being difficult as when they get together there’s a murder. Similar to when a group of Baboons gets together there’s a congress. 🙂

You have congress, this side of the pond it’s a flange.
I’m glad the Crow stopped to chat. I like your thinking on that 😊

:). Yup, and over here Parliament might be mis-interpreted as “You speak breath mint,” Parley vous mint.

That’s because you have good taste and enjoy humor and clean living like Jack Sparrow. Oh, he lives clean, always cleaning up messes or running from them. He’s all about clean. Clean escapes. Clean getaways. Clean cons. 🙂

Thanks much, Bonnie! I was rather proud just doodle drawing along geometrically, playing with constructions and visual sleuthing, when the Star of David was suddenly constructed at every intersection. Very appropriate for the subject matter. Big ole !!s that day. It’s one of my fave doodles. 🙂

Also, as well Tiger Woman. That was a fun contour study. I appreciate your comment!

It was a bit like geometric lemon juice on invisible ink abducting the Star of David as something unseen though hiding in plain sight in unseen structures… like one’s skeleton. We can’t see it, though we use it all the time.

🙂 Thanks. One of my faves. I keep an easel-framed copy on a furniture piece. It’s not even like I created anymore. Moreso than I created her, she graduated from me to something larger, her own world. I just smile at her meditative Presence As Architecture. SHe’s a grand, totem ally.
