Run-off Poll Coming Shortly

Thanks for voting! There’ll now be a run-off. The 1st vote ended up in a 3-way tie between…

Amara ~ 17 Votes

Amara is the Italian word for bitter, from the same root as Mary and Miriam. It has separate roots in West Africa as a name that means grace in the Igbo language. These two meanings are the best-known, but Amara is also a Sanskrit name meaning immortal, and a Mongolian name meaning peaceful, by Karen Sealey of The Pure and Blessed Way

Clair Foncé ~ 17 Votes

Light Dark in French by Timothy Price of Off Center & Not Even

Clair Amara Foncé ~ 17 Votes

Crucible-in the 1st 2 wonderful ones to re-constitute as Light Graces Dark to integrate the 1st two nominations by Oz behind the curtain.

Clair Amarinth Foncé ~ 1 Vote

Light Graces Dark with an imaginary flower that never fades. Most likely wonderfully sassy with verve and wits and composure and calm. That’s only a guess. I only created her. She rules what she does with herself. Maybe she’s only sassy when she wants to be, or never. Maybe she’s simply regal with wonderfully intense and honest up-front edginess. Of course she has a sense of humor. Gratuitously, Oz behind the curtain again. Heck, why not? Those 1st two are both stunning, and also have some seriously rockin’ alchemy going on as they magically mix together.

Sombra Encantada ~ didn’t make the initial cut as it was TOO GOOD. She not administratively pulled it over and hired it on the spot as Her Modus Operandi.

Enchanted Shadow by Timothy Price of Off Center & Not Even. Is this not her name, but instead expressive of her deep well fueling her Mode of Being behind the name that shakes out of this process? Hmmm… Well, YES it was!

Note: Sombra Encantada is not an Honorary Mention. This executive-decision-hired-on-the-spot administratively submitter was from Timothy Price of Off Center & Not Even will be awarded the whole eProduct suite available to date as a signing bonus. Everything except the Tarot in the Land of Mystereum boxed set available on Amazon.

I’m Blessed She’s a Wise One

I’m blessed she’s a wise one. And, that wisdom extends to why I am asking YOU to name her. I made her and taught her, though in regards to naming I was obviously not up to the task. It’s great to be pushed by something you’ve made. My art is teaching me back, asking me for Her name, expanding places I though were expansive already, dialing them into my own Nature more. Pretty cool process.

So, Pictures of Her Familiars. Familiars. Like Templars, though much more magical

Melusina

Surprise Appearance from the Aether from Merc. WOW. Thanks for hooking up with Merc out there (insert name who is the subject of this post, my Creation Daughter), and for.. something tells me he And she both may be up to something, though, like he always was, and now I guess always still is? Un huh. I’ll take the smile as an indefatigabe yes. Whatever he was up to was always good by me. His Life, His Way, Indefatigably. Almost 21 years, his life memories are blessings.

(Melusine, Mélusine). legends about mermaids, water sprites, and forest nymphs who marry mortal men. She is limitless in her natural Yin-Yang syzygy integrated way. Glass ceilings are just Mary Poppins umbrellas to fly around with and fold up and mostly just things for her to reach out to and fold up and put away as she loves the rain. Even further, she loves that her strong roots bring her to laugh at storms, even more so the especially intense ones whether they’re weather or between people… submitted by Merc, Mercurius the cat who was and forever will be. He graced my life from 8-weeks old until 5 days shy of 21 years old. His eternity occasionally crosses her path as her Feline Familiar Companion as his continual afterlife mixes with her immortality. No Purgatory for either of them there for sure.

GT

Gemini Twin

Honestly, she rolled her eyes. Oz, don’t you remember why we started this post? I don’t like your names for me. Titling is usually not tricky for you, though here? It is. You created me, and I feel you did a wonderful job. I love myself and my limitlessness. Though, it stops there. It stops way back there in 1991. I graduated from your hand. Let go. Stop the ‘you just had to touch it’ because it is beauty. I get your bent with beauty, and I resonate and admire that lest I not be here in the 1st place. Though, let’s let the people talk, shall we? I smile. I can only smile at that kind of open rockin’ness of clarity of Self and the influences one will allow in their life. She has wonderful boundaries. That’s all Her, what she’s done with herself. I can only respond, Crystal clear, BayBEE. Go You!. SaWEET.

Oh,

Oh, you guys are like Who TF is Merc? Merc was my 2nd cat, Stirrup was the 1st. Stirrup was an 18 lb solid black cat we named Stirrup, because we figured he’d stir up trouble. He only made to to 2. Cats and respiratory infections don’t get along. Cats and bullshit vets get along even less.

Cats have so much heart, though their chest, their pecs, are often the least developed muscle grouping in their body. Consequently, they aren’t geared to cough stuff out, no good at expectorating to relieve some of the gigs causing respiratory stress.

I say all this for Stirrup as cats and large horse pills are also NOT geared for cats. We need to break this thing up, too big for him, I said. Vet responds, No, it’s fine. Dafuqin asshole going by some “We’ve done it this way for years, bullshit book. I have one word for that kind of vet or person now. Tradition. And, just because you’ve always done it that way doesn’t mean it’s not still incredibly fucking stupid. After that day, when I felt something was not good, Rock of Gibraltar. Peoples’ and animals’ lives and Nature itself deserve the self-respect we juice a situation with calmly where No is a complete sentence, especially even if just eyebrows up head side to side and not even a word.

I was in high school when I had Stirrup. Sitting in the garage, We fed Stirrup the pill, tried to help work it down his throat. He was in my arms. It stuck. He was in my arms. It fucking STUCK! It stuck in his throat. 3 2 1 … he went cold. FUCK! My best friend went cold in my arms. I. Will never forget that moment… and, I will always lean in with glaring eyes any time a vet or anyone else suggests something that gives me that NOPE feeling… uh hem… suggest to do something that doesn’t feel right. How can I not? How can you not? I would be remiss if I didn’t, and I don’t need to intentionally create regret.

That Day

That day When Stirrup went cold cradled in my arms, died almost instantly out of nowhere and too fast to do anything… It was over almost before it started… That day, I learned to turn and lean into bullshit without charge and simply flow out, I don’t believe you. Calmly leave it there in the air until they respond or don’t. A client years later said that exact same thing in a meeting to someone. I Instantly remembered the moment with Stirrup, silently swimming in as my insides intensely stirred up, within the wits of a calm lake surface… in my arms, cold, the trauma fresh, Stirrup going cold. It stuck. Not the pill. The expression.

From that point on I would have a habit of feeling that in my throat when someone was killin’ it so to speak the wrong way, playing a superficial, poison pill getting us stuck, putting their stuff on another. This was a trigger I was not going to heal. This is a trigger I cherish. This is experience that taught me beyond the scene. It wasn’t until I was 47 that I would get the same feeling when it applied to myself such that I would be enlightened to the NOPE of that kind of person.

Uncomfortable moment, those? Notta chance now. Any discomfort was, and will most likely certainly be, less uncomfortable than what would happen if I didn’t or don’t speak up, walk away, or wave them away without words. I remembered Stirrup’s antics and his prowess and grace and stealth and eternity. Thank you Stirrup. Your memories are magical blessings. I learned something about some people and myself being wth you. It’s not ok to say it, it’s that I will say, I don’t believe you. Ultimately, a being’s life may depend on it. Yours did.

Merc

Merc? Mercurius. A made up-ish Latin word for a Mercurial spirit as agile in his mood as his motion. Merc for short. Merc my cat. I adopted Merc when he was 8 weeks old. We slept through the interview. They had left us in a playroom, and, well, we played, both running around on the tile on all fours and hopping and dodging and weaving and… then sliding up under the counter into the shadow where he clawed up my chest mewing to nestle into the crook of my clavicle and nuzzle into my neck. We were out. 45 minutes later, the vet tech walked in. Opening my eyes I said, oh cool, I guess you guys were busy. Can we have the intreview now? She just smiled. Pointed up to the camera laughing, you two have been being interviewed for 45 minutes. Pass? Nope. Now, you two just have the whole staff of the Denver Dumb Friends League as fans. Let’s finish up your paperwork and get you two back out in the wild where you belong together.

The experience of the family of Merc is a longer story of which I will simply express a brushstroke of here as he sauntered through here as the Poll was coming into being. I had him from that day when he was 8 weeks old until 5 days shy of 21. D.O.B. 3/5/1993. R.I.P. around 3:30p on 2/28 in 2014 — date typo in the banner.

Worms took him, not the Dune ones. It was a shame, because at 20 1/2 he was still just launching off the 2nd floor parapet wall like nobody’s business down to the garden level wall, and then down to the drive, and of course I was boomp boomp boomp down the stairs as it was time to go exploring together. These foxes aren’t so bad. The racoons are certainly farcical talking about the weather on the deck when it rains. I’m 12 pounds you know? Remember last year when I took down that 120-lb Rottie?. One day I’ll have a challenge.

And, my little, 12-lb Bruce Lee Feline Brother didn’t Have many challenges until towards the end… well, there was the time he ate a wasp and half his face almost melted off. It’s wonderfully strange to see a being in THAT much pain and distortion, half their face drooping off, and they just look at you with that one eye buying out like, Whatchou lookin’ at Willis?, like nothing’s going on. Talk about Presence As Architecture in a mode of being.

We did his challenge together. And, if I hear one more person say I should have put him down… Nature puts us down. I’m pretty sure my position on DNR was formed by Merc — that’s for another time. I’ll live until the end warts and all so to speak thank you very much.

On Merc’s last day we played a game that pretty much over the years became a meditation to see who was more patient, or until he got hungry, etc. Hand softly over paw. Paw slips out to plop over my hand. Hand over paw. Paw over hand. Like the baseball bat game, except there’s no winner going to bat, you’re simply diggin’ it together, handing in place. Our last moments were spent slowly playing that game we used to always play when just hanging out.

Except. The last time, we felt it. Slowly, paw over hand. Hand slowly over paw… paw sliding… trouble moving it… it would be the last time… slowly… paw over hand resting down, settling in saying goodbye through the tears… We held there in that moment breathing together together eye to eye nodding… paw over hand. His clear eyes never having known cloudiness were the last thing to go, the connection present until the end. Stayed that way… and then a deep blink and soft pat paw on hand and resting away… and I stayed. No fold. No raise. No hand over paw. Paw over hand. Paw over hand would be the indelible memory tattoo of Merc on my heart. Thank you Merc. Our living condolences memories from those last moments, and all the moments for 5 days shy of 21 years are blessings. Merc, your memories are my blessing.

DAD!!!! WTF Are You Doing?!!

DAD!!!!! WTF are you doing?! You’re supposed to be setting up my Name Poll. Oh, it’s about Merc. Cool. Well, not cool, disTRACTED Dad, though pardon. That’s ok. Awwww. May I sit with you guys while you steep in living remembrance? Nodding. Thank you, honey. Yes, please do. Couple of streams from both of us…

Dad, shaking her head, Dad, like you told me… stay there in it. There’s respect in fully steeping in this grief that finally came 6 years later. Reasons are unreasonable. You don’t need words. You told me that when I needed it. And, now you do. I got you. I got you, Dad. Be with him as you are now. I see you feeling it. You told me. ‘Don’t let it pass you by when it comes, and it may come years later. You never know. We each grieve differently. And, we each grieve differently each time. Don’t pretend to know. Feel. Here it is, Dad. Here is when I dose you with the blessings you gave me. Please steep in your crucible. Please steep in your crucible, Dad.

I’m blessed she’s a wise one. And, that wisdom extends to why I am asking YOU to name her. I made her And taught her, though in regards to naming I was obviously not up to the task. It’s great to be pushed by something you’ve made. My art is teaching me back, expanding places I though were expansive already, dialing them into my own Nature more. Pretty cool process.

So,

So Dad, I woke up off of your table from my frame behind glass as my Magical Feline Familiar Merc came around and said you needed some help getting that out. Thank you, Dad. Just call me your Doula. Thank you for being able to feel and do something about it. Yes, the name thing was a bit of a ruse, well, at least at first. Though, you fell for it. It worked, huh? You needed that long cry, huh? To clear your throat. To remember blood and sand, paw and hand. Thank you for being you.

And now, I’m feeling all WHERE’S MY NAME?!! Will you puh-dafuqin-PLEEZ show Merc‘S pic and art from that time and then post the damn poll?!! I want a name I dig! And, oh. (Snicker) Only the 1st 4 are eligible. You should have left beauty where it was. Just had to touch it, huh? You made me. That is enough. The world gets to give me my name tattoo. (Laughing) Dad, I’m glad I don’t take you to the museum anymore. We’d end up in jail, just watch up to a priceless masterpiece and rub your nose in it and deeply take in the history and memories from the smell… until we’d be running from the security guard. Gotta say that wasn’t boring fo sho.. 🙂

(Insert Merc portrait and Mr Long Toes image)

Dad. Your Life, Your Way. You always kept me reminded of that. What about yours the same way? Let’s get to gettin’ me a name, Dood Dad!

Poll open ’til Sunday, 7/26, 9:09p EST when the Libra Moon goes Void Of Course. Look for Her Name Announcement, her Debutante Debut, at 12:12a 7/27 as the Moon emerges Direct from Void in Scorpio. No, she will not be wearing that white dress or one of those Gynormous bows. She’s already been living on her own for quite some time. Her Spiritual Name Tatto Request Exercise was a sandbox gig for her, her Creative Dad Debutante. Shehad me fooled

She had a load of discretion on how she wanted to go about it. Cagey, but direct words. I heard her. Heck, better than her calling home for money on her travels. This has been fun until… I get it… what was she up to doing this thing that could be misconstrued as persona mining when she was so present about it? All I thought, initially, was, My Art-Daughter is wise… Now, I know I’ve also been had. I love her for that. What an effective prankster. Wonder where she got that.

Her wonderment had gotten curious, and she turned it on me. And, when that happens, great stuff often follows. She’s smart like that to act on it and reach out. She knows, and now I do. I can certainly attest to that. Her wicked coolness is more than excellent like that.

This has been an expression of that. She’s smiling right now and expressed, DayUM Dad, Thanks! I’ll take ANY of these except your lame ones. You had good ones from Karen and Timothy. And Merc, He says BuurRROWWW and THANKS! Heck, even your alchemy rip-offs Of Karen and Timothy are ok. Cool! Thanks, Dad. Let’s see what shakes out, though you can only use those 4. I’ll ignore any of the rest.. I just wanted to plant the seed, like you when you made me, for you to get in touch with the portions of your blessed remembrances in grief with Merc And Stirrup. They ask about you a lot, how you’re doing. Merc cherishes the 21 years you spent together. Stirrup knows what it’s like to be held when it counts. They wanted you to feel in and finish grieving this many years later so your Inner Inheritance memories are blessings as you are fond of saying. He laughed. ‘Just dose him with his own medicine. He’ll get it. He’s one who doesn’t avoid facing things for sure. Don’t pit him with a 120-lb Rottie though. Been there. Done That. Boring.”

I’ll be back on Sunday, Dad, before the Moon goes Void to see. Merc & I have things to go do. Later, Dad. LoveYaLots.

Now

Now, I know why I set up this naming post for Her, my Creation. Thank you, Art-Daughter. Thank you, Merc. Thank you, Stirrup.

Wow. My work blesses me. Time to bless her with a Name.

Poll Open

Poll open ’til Sunday, 7/26, 9:09p EST when the Libra Moon goes Void Of Course. It will emerge Direct in Scorpio at 12:12a 7/27, and we will have Her name.

Now, it’s time to vote. No honor system here now. Just vigilance and honesty and prowess with what you feel to want. Vote early and often. What will her name be? She indicated it might be a nickname. Tells me she’s looking to get a tattoo. Lol. Shaking head. Just as good. Sure it’ll be quality ink.

Name Announcement at 12:12a, Monday, 7/27 When the Moon goes Direct in Scorpio.

SI: 7/24 Serendipity Itinerary

Your July 24th, 2020 SI, and the Moon in Virgo until 7:08p EST when it goes Void of Course to emerge at 9:54p in Libra through the weekend

Serendipity Itineraries is a post series is about sharing my weekly blog field trips, my eExperiences, so that maybe you find some new people who you resonate with, to enjoy and/or follow, and/or simply have a mini-library of places to visit when you feel that cool compulsion to expand your experience.

I notice that on the blogs I resonate with, I often also resonate with who they resonate with. Not always, there’s of course a case by case discernment present. Though, it’s more often than not. Enough to have Given form to these weekly Serendipity Itineraries.

Hey, some say not to toot your own horn. What?! That’s absurd. Somebody’s gotta start the band. Please post a link to your blog in the comments to add to the Serendipity Itinerary fun. It’ll make out sandbox community bigger. Thanks in advance for tooting your own horn to promote yourself.

This Week

It’s a #8 Day, so here’s an 8 video

Mystereum Tarot Moment, 8 of Pentacles

0 min 44 sec

Heck, I never noticed the timing added up to 8, too. How Cool! Lol, it only took me 9 1/2 years to notice that. I bet Carrie Paris, my Producer on these videos did that intentionally. Serendipity Itineraries starts here this week. Check out her beautiful site!

Here we go!

Serendipity Itinerary for July 24th

Onto the wild beyond around the rocks in the wonderful rapids of the excellent blogs below. I’ve started treating the music section below differently, just taking it down right from Shuffle on Sonos. So, it’s become a Serendipity Itinerary in itself that I’ve been filling my spaces with. I know I listen to a lot of music, though seeing How fast the list grows? Wow!

Serendipity Itinerary Sites

Laleh Chini ~ A Voice From Iran. Check and inspect your expectations at the door. The storytelling, short stories, fables, and folk tales will… well, you’ll see. I recently received her book and am looking forward to posting a review in the near future. I’m still adjusting to being this busy again, and I’m not going to rush out a review of Laleh’s wonderful work. I’m currently immersed in reading Climbing Over Grit, and without spoilers I can indefatigably express… YES!!!! A more robust review is coming soon, and I so look forward to dial into those words. Mini-review here.

Karen Sealey ~ The Pure & Blessed Tarot. ~ Riding the cusp between imagination and reality. The Discarded Oracle is coming to life! Check it out on Pinterest! And, other rockin’ ramblings and Rantras and musings with no pulled punches, and lots of exquisite surprises along the way. THIS is a site to watch.

Bonnie Hubly ~ Watercolors on Pinterest. Full and robust and full of feeling with fluid fluency and flow in execution. Majestic Watercolors. Organic placements, artful scenes. Gorgeous.

Trini Lind ~ Paths of the Spirit. Create a path of Light with your Life. Wonderful perspective. Deceptively simple drawings that I find magically evocative. No one trick pony here.

Ian Bryant ~ Tarot Sushi. A place for all things Tarot and More! Excellent and clear and depthful writing voice with full-on proetic substance. Creative writing steeped in poetry, nourishing soul food for imagination and creative expression. And, I’m honored Ian is using my Tarot in the Land of Mystereum deck and 192-page companion book as a creative writing prompter.

House of Ari. Sharing a personal exploration of gender in Sweden. Up front and honest and insightful as the experience and process of this self-induced rite of passage unfolds. I respect when people swim in their own crucible to discern and come to a more resonant relationship with themselves. It can be swimming in magma at times, though isn’t that how crystals and geodes are made? Clarity and creativity and actionable feel often come out of strong Soul Gardening such as Ari’s. I look forward to where this exploration leads.

cocinaitaly ~ Elganspo, comida italiana. Hungry? Hungry for edible beauty, aesthetic eats? Exquisite is a word. Edibly exquisite is two words. Grab a friend, and go experience this. What will your words be afterwards?

Joy Vernon ~ Completely Joyous. Tarot & Reiki. Bookmarked for this week as there’s an ICANN issue pending. I’ve been there. I hate it when that periodic email required to confirm your URL ownership with ICANN for your website gets buried and lost. I’ll most likely have an operable link here next week if not before.

Benebell Wen ~ author + reader. Such a wonderful discipline of the ritual in Benebelle’s actioanable and exploratory process of deck creation of her 3rd edition of SKT. Check out Benebelle’s site. She is an engaged and informed artist fully immersed Actively in The Work and also in the not-knowing, and building value when she emerges her creations.

Robert Ruiz ~ Robert Ruiz Art. Robert Ruiz is an artist from Brownsville, TX, who is also a Master of Fine Art Candidate at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley with Bachelors of Fine Art, concentration in Drawing and New Media, from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is also currently the Art Director at the Carlotta Petrina Museum and Artist liaison for the City of Brownsville Mural Program. Check out his work.

Banter Republic ~ Gottfried. It’s just banter. Banter, comedy, humor, lifestyle, Living. He might even ask you if a period can be italicized. Be entertained and engaged. No hidden Oz behind the curtain here.

Theresa, Soul Gatherings ~ Spiritual Moments in the Human Experience. Wonderful quotes and perspective here. A great daily.

Gabriela M. ~ Short Prose Fiction. Author of the Year (2019) at Spillword Press NYC. You can swim in these words. Take a dip.

Keith’s SecondVoice ~ African Poetry. I found Keith’s work last week. He liked a comment I made on another’s blog, don’t remember which as I clicked right through to his site. Wonderfully powerful, muscular language full of grit and flow and resonance and well-played metaphor that is apt and expressive and clear.

Carsten Wieland ~ Brushpark Watercolors ~ Aquarelle und Zeichnungen von Carsten Wieland. Power in color and fluid forms here. Please visit this wonderfully powerful feast for the eyes and process expressed with watercolors.

RoadtirementTraveling and retired. This couple and their experiences and travels and family… just make me smile. Real and robust for being themselves. Plus, they’re gardeners. What ever could go wrong? Great sense of humor and wonderful outlook on life. Woo Hoo shout-out to the Roadtirement Etsy shop! Check it out.

Tutu’s edible logic ~ Food makes sense. Exquisite and intelligent and nourishing and informative.

Learn Tarot: Naima Healer ~ Self-Healing through the Present Moment. Wonderful work with a just as wonderful Hoo Doo deck. Naima has just started out blogging, and I firmly feel she started out on just the right foot. Sensitive, sensible with wit and wisdom not disconnected from lineage. She may have just started blogging, though she’s no novice Reader.

Bonnie Cehovet ~ Flash Fiction. Author. Tarot. Consummate Reviewer. Want a solid story? Bonnie’ll get your there. Bonnie has a way about only working with things she resonates with. Croque-Melpomene ~ Author of Within Paravent Walls. Pentalingual Idealist. Writer of psycho-corporeal Poetry. Creator of Croque-Melpomene & Les Femmes de la Décadence. Chthonic Numinosity, depth with no fear of addressing behemoth-level emotional topics through her poetry and evolved wonderment and continual curiosity. She runs deep, and takes the proper gear to do so… herself. I see a chthonic numinosity in her poetry that is akin to night and day stained glass. Well worth the visit. Powerful. Intense. Heartfelt. I advise to bring tissues for all the right reasons.

Saania2086 ~ Philosophy is all about being curious, asking basic questions. And it can be fun! If P, then Q. If you want good sense, then go here to see what dynamic mind dish is being served up today.

Charlescearl’s Weblog ~ Musings on fascinating things. Important and fascinating things well said. Charles not only thinks things through, he lives them through. You can feel it in his writing. Don’t go for the writing. Go for experience you will remember. Indelible is a word, and a good one with Charles’ weblog.

Jane Lurie Photography ~ powerful, evocative freeze-frames of architectural images that are definitely not secretly active. These images live out loud! They are refined. These beauties have some pipes in their visual voice.

Timothy Price ~ Off Center & Not Even. Is variety the spice of life? Go here and see! The photography is magnificent.

Mary K. Greer’s Tarot Blog ~ Tarot helps you meet whatever comes in the best possible way. Mary matters. Professionally. As a person. As an author. Mary matters. Enchanted Seashells by Princess Rosebud ~ Beguiling pearls of wit, wisdom, and whimsy-with attitude. I’m not going to add more words to that. If that doesn’t grab you… A Princess is simply a Queen not yet sitting..

Dr. Eric Perry ~ Psychology to Motivate | Inspire | Uplift. Wonderfully full and relevant and engaged Psychology articles with clarity of voice. I full-on dig when things are as robust as they are clear, especially when directly dealing with intensities. This site, is certainly that.

Cristian Mihai ~ Professional Blogger. Sense & Sensibility meets the info age? He’s not afraid to say it, whatever he says. No walking on eggshells here, well, unless he starts making compost for the garden. Excellent tips for bloggers and thinkers and feelers.

Susi Bocks ~ I Write Her. My words for Susi’s writing go something like this. You talk a good game, Dood, but can you (Susi) Bocks? Concise might even be too long a word. The consistency of depth here is… well, I have a deep respect for how much she does with so little and its never sparse. Muscular and powerful language. I’d call her the Bruce Lee of words.

The Alchemist’s Studio ~ Raku, vessels, Alchemy in action. Pottery with heart and soul PLUS some PUNitive humor to boot. Don’t miss the Hens! Another place of great perspective.

Enjoy the DNA of our Solar System as it moves along its 230-million year orbit around our Milky Way galaxy. Credit to A.T. Mann for sending me this years back when he was a guest on my Inner State Highways internet TV show. Hmmm, I miss doing that. Well, I might want to do something about that…

This is such a cool creation about the larger creation we live our own orbits within.

Nature. Patience. Sovereign.

Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience.

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflections (c) 2006 Jordan Hoggard

Yes

Yes, and patience is not passive. Patience is focused strength. No moods, no anger, no malice. No need of happy mad sad glad. Only weather. Nature, and its patient weather, only as intense as it is at any given time. Even a tsunami, is still simply the ocean. Even a glass top lake is teaming below with resonant and active life inside it.

Assertion is not confident. Observe it. It is often blustery, is often superficial. Assertion reacts. Confidence enjoys the weather, and occasionally even responds.

The teacher is silent during the test.

~ Keanu Reeves

Re-naming Tiger Woman

Thanks to everyone who nominated a names or names for Her and liked and viewed. And, thankS again for participating in any way you did. The whole stadium takes part in whatever way it does. It always takes all of us, huh?

So, Scrolling Through Images Today

So, scrolling through images today, Tiger Woman seemed to say… I don’t resonate with my name. It just doesn’t fit. You called me ‘Fire Cat #3’ at one point. That CERTAINLY didn’t stick. Someone referred to me as ‘Zebra Woman.’ Neither of those fit. I want a new name, one that fits me then, one that fits me now, one that fits me tomorrow. Zebra Woman? Oh boy. WHo said that? That is visually apt, and fit me even less.

Please ask the world their perspective. I want a new name. I want a name that fit me then, that fits me now, and that will fit me tomorrow. Names are important. I’ve explored both sides, dark and light. My Chthonic Numinosity of Both/And Self embraces all of me, though doesn’t name me. I have things to do. Though, 1st things 1st. I need a name before I further set out on my next set of adventures. I want a name, a cool and substantial name congruent with my power.

Hi All,

Tiger Woman wants a new name. Please dial into her Presence As Architecture and comment what you feel her name is. Once we have a group of names in the comments, I’ll pool them all together and set up a poll, The deadline for commenting her name is next Friday 7/24 at 6p EST. The winning suggestion(s) based on what she resonates with will receive a free copy of ImaginAction. Once the poll is up, I’ll sidestep the honor system so you can vote early and often.

Please comment with what you feel her name should be.

Here we go!

Serendipity Itinerary for July 10th

There were a couple of cuts this week and the same couple were removed last week. Openly, I chalk it up to my comments on their blogs not being in keeping with something… I don’t know what, When blogs are moderated, they are. I don’t stick these two with the kicked over, stacked stone cairn of my fave from this year of actually getting banned from a Philosophy website. I still cherish the laughter I had at that. Thanks Karen Sealey for participating in that. I never knew that expressing 3 apt and well-connected metaphors in a row to fluidly engage a topic would induce the consequence of puerile from the Ivory Tower. I guess I should respect that dood’s pain, as I guess being incarcerated in the Ivory Tower… well, I guess it’s prison until The Fool comes around and blasts the seed trying to burst open. At least I’M free of that. I hope THe Fool comes around for them as well. That’s gotta suck having to explain everything all the time. Heck, I have exactly one Prinicipal in my Principal’s Office… and, Sovereign, I don’t keep office hours. 🙂

Their

Their Blog, Their Way. Cool. I’ll shoulder it. Hey, I don’t belong everywhere. It’s excellent when I find rocks in the river I can steer around rather than crash against. I find that there’s no reason for conflict in those situations… unless of course they come back with presumptuous statements. Cool, then someone wants to play. That’s simply a different conversational intensity level, though still simply conversation. I will then simply thank them for their presumptuous comment. Don’t expect it, just sayin’.

Nothing

Nothing bad about not spending energy in places if you are moderated out. Again, on me, not them. They made their decisions via an unspoken though certain chilling gestures. I say SaWEET. Deadhead the pansies. Good stuff. Thank you, you two. I’m glad to have more energy to spend on the wonderful people below.

So,

So, onto the wild beyond around the rocks in the wonderful rapids of the excellent blogs below. And, this week, WOOT WOOT, I’m treating the music section differently. You’ll see when you get there. Enjoy the Serendipity Itineraries you choose to venture to from the

Serendipity Itinerary Sites

Laleh Chini ~ A Voice From Iran. Check and inspect your expectations at the door. The storytelling, short stories, fables, and folk tales will… well, you’ll see. I just received her book last week and am looking forward to posting a review in the near future. I’m still adjusting to being this busy again, and I’m not going to rush out a review of Laleh’s wonderful work. I’m currently immersed in reading Climbing Over Grit, and without spoilers I can indefatigably express… YES!!!! Review coming soon. SO looking forward to dialing into those words.

& This Week’s SI Music & Video

This week… This week I am going to do the Music Section differently. Unless I want Silence, music is always on. And, living in the city in Philadelphia rather than on 50 acres outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico 5 years ago before here… music is also typically on ti filter out the noise pollution of the car alarms and bs city trash noise.

And, I HAVE DISCOVERED THE SHUFFLE feature on my Sonos sound system When I upgraded several weeks ago. WOW! YES! And, that’s what’s driving how this week’s Music Section is different. I set it up this week more as an extended Bibliography of the awesome-sauce that has been permeating the liquid of the spaces in my home. I’m getting to know my SOnos better, and this week, I think it must have recently broken up with Alexa or something. I like all the music, and just wrote it down at times this week while it was playing, though there is kinda a baby baby take me back mix tape vibe going on. Lol. I put a box of tissues near it so it can keep cranking out the tunes.

I have ONE video from my favorite soundtrack of all time, Peter Gabriels’s Last Temptation of Christ. Such thickly lush and viscous mood music. Jut fills the room with just what I need. Nothing religious or secular about it. It simply expresses, in spades and beautiful forgetfulness, an immersion in the moment in the power of Peter Gabriel’s clarity of vision in voice. I remember all the controversy in Wichita Falls, Texas when it came out. People picketing the theatres, You’re all going to Hell, and all that mumbo jumbo with no gumbo. I remember afterwards feeling it was visually intense, though I was responding more to the soundtrack than the film.

I had gone to a matinee in the afternoon, and I remember walking out of the theater right afterwards and making a bee-line to the record store. None on the shelves, labeled, though empty. I went to the counter to order it, and, Oh, we have them. Just with all that Bible Belt Baptist bullshit going on out there, I’d rather they be allowed to go to church instead of the popo taking them to jail because they either shoplifted it to listen in secret or to destroy them. Either way there I lose. How many do you want? Big smile over here on this side of the counter. What a great question. Hadn’t even though about more than 1. Now that you mention it, I’ll stick to theme. 3, please. The soundtrack opens up with The Feeling Begins, and oh what a feeling this soundtrack will fill your spaces with wherever you are. It resonates with me deeply much like one of my fave quotes from David Bowie:

Heaven and Religion are for people who do not want to go to Hell. Spirituality is for those of us who have already been there.

~ David Bowie

So, Cherry Pick

So, cherry pick my Sonos Shuffle Library from this week listed below While my Sonos continues its healing journey. ;). I think there is a download playlist feature if I can find it. Next week, it just might be more… uh hem… complete. Like this isn’t plenty, though. I hope you find some soundtrack music below for your SI above. Or, of course bring your own. You might already be packin’. My Sonos has been filling the spaces with musical SI all week long. My musical tastes run from heavy metal to heavy meaning, so shuffle travels far and expansively wide… and more than oftentimes Is seamless segue synchromeshed engine voice in the ears informing the motions of speed-shifting high up in the tach with no clutch and ALL engagement. I just love me some torque.

May you fill your spaces with the good stuff Your way. Plenty to choose from this week. Maybe I’ll introduce him to Siri. Well, maybe not. Then, I’d never get any sleep. They might tell me to leave as they already HAVE a room.

The Adaptable & Our Thrival

[[[Blog By Comment Technique]]]

[[[You’re moved to full-on and intensely respond to a blog post. You do so… hey, it might not resonate with them, and they might moderate it out — and on that, puhLEEZ don’t take that personally… it’s their blog and that means Their Blog, Their Way, and reasons are wholly unreasonable in that regard. It may be that some of your best writing Or amplifications of message and/or ideas can come from this because you are out there flowing in a response like a conversation. Though, give yourself credit for believing in the substance of what you wrote as THAT is YOUR voice. Do you resonate with it? It also may be some of your worse writing if it was reactionary rather than responsive. So, before you hit Send to post on someone else’s blog when you have an impassioned or simply thoughtful comment, Select All in your comment before you hit Send. Copy it to your clipboard. Send, to post it there. Head back to your blog. New Post. Paste. Save as a Draft blog. Sometimes they don’t even need to be re-tooled — depends on your proof-reading when commenting… and AutoCorrect as I certainly know it often writes things for me that I didn’t Nintendo. It’s a great way to put your money where your mouth is in regards to valuing what you say. That is to say, I don’t write anything on someone else’s blog that I wouldn’t cotton to being on my own, And, 10 to 1, I bet it will be a wonderful heartbeat embracing your blog theme… or not, though it’s a fun technique to work with either way. And, sometimes, you come back to the draft and… WHOAH, does it go places. Or, lol, DELETE. Perspective is a funny thing, huh? In closing on the Blog By Comment Technique, it’s not only about your respect and value of your own voice, it’s also about that continual process of dialing into your own clarity of voice, and heck, if helps you engage and connect, so much the better. Enjoy the Blog By Comment Technique]]]

This post was inspired by a Blog post from The Wild Coach’s blog. It’s pretty much my comment, though edited to reflect the paragraph breaks that seemed to be lost when posting. It happens. So be it. No biggee. And, they may come back later. WordPress seems to do that sometimes… like your post naturalized in the blog garden, and then, OH, you had paragraph breaks. Here ya go. Lol. It’s a process. It’s certainly a process. Enjoy my Blog By Comment Technique. I hope you give it a go. And, by all means visit The Wild Coach.

Yes! And, I call it Covid Blessings. Not to dismiss the pain and suffering, though 2 weeks before the 3/19 shutdown I consciously made the move to emerge out of a self-imposed 5-year public radio silence and back into my alchemy of Tarot and Astrology and Poetry and Architecture and Painting and Psychology and re-opened my blog.

2 weeks later Moses basically dropped his hands and the Red Sea came crashing down on everyone, me included. Though, I stood there. I stood there Unmoved as the Rock of Gibraltar with “Trees with strong roots laugh at storms” as if I was protecting family with my fledgling re-opening in writing and NOPE, not stopping this. There’s no dafuq?? going on here, just Nope. Nope, not on the list. At least not mine. THIS is what I’m doing.

The evolution did not come from only the strong survive. In these times the superficially strong die on the vine and are washed away like chaff from wheat in the wind. And, people start to realize what they actually value and see through bs more. So, where does that leave us? It leaves us with potential Sovereignty, each of us. Perspective and experience in experience rather than poor me.

No more head chatter of nipping the poison tweet-teet of the news feed. No more smoking the narcotic of hope of just working harder. It became simple.

It’s a time in between, an interstice. To nip the Goo Goo Dolls song title, Here Is Gone, that here is gone. No new normal to come. No waiting procrastinating for it.

And, in these times A different quality of strength that may have been nascent at a large scale in each of us has the potential to emerge.

The Adaptable ones. Those who are adaptable AND actionable about it and doing what they value…. the adaptable don’t survive. We thrive.

Best to your thrival in your adaptations to make your world the best place it can be with a perspective of what your workability in any situation is. Best to YOUR Natural nature being the cornerstone you brace against for Your Life, Your Way.

Adversity doesn’t build character. It reveals it. ~ James Lane Allen
