I woke up in the middle of the night and smiled as I remembered an honor that is dear and magnetic and powerful to me. It was like an awake-dream, a theosophic vision launched straight out of my dreams. I sat up kelping in slow movements very liminal like I was un-knocked out into awareness, and probably had quite a goofy looking smile like a cat with its tongue just stuck there stuck out a bit. There was a blurry image coming forward and into focus as I came to. It was the rockin’ Tarot package Schiffer Publications published in 2011. That’s certainly an honor, though that wasn’t the magnetic memory that pulled me up out of dream orbits.
My book and deck package Tarot in the Land of Mystereum was named 39th out of the Top 50 Most Essential Tarot Decks By the Tarosophy Tarot Association a good while back! I have to say, being stirred out of sleep by a magnetic memory like that is ridiculously cool! What a great talisman for the night, the day, and moving forward! Lyra, my German Shepherd, may want to go out now for a middle of the night walk, and I’m pretty dang sure I’ll be meeting the pillow again soon after, though I wanted to share this magical moment while it was fresh, to keep its movement going out into the night, the world, and into and throughout the day.

Me? Overcoming my back injury and finally shedding the 4 stones that I gained whilst being off my feet for 4 years. A couple of years ago, I dragged myself at a snail”s pace with the aid of a walking stick to the top of Glastonbury Tor and vowed I’d do it again unaided. Equinox just gone I did it! I stood at the top in a swirl of wind that had my hair swept on end and heard this jubilant noise… Then realised it was me shouting – I FEEL SO ALIVE! 🤣

I am proud of getting back into music after a 14-year bleak break! Oh, and just a couple of days ago, I found out one of my poems is being published in the next RAMA Life Magazine. I’m very excited about that.
