Listening to the radio a few weeks back, I learnt a new word – eigengrau, the dark grey colour your brain perceives in total absence of light. The radio presenter quoted it as being the colour you see when you shut your eyes… I terrified one of my passengers by declaring – No, that’s wrong! I see mostly red. I tried it out whilst sat at traffic lights then said it after I pulled off. Made my day to hear my passenger shouting – Wait! Wtf Karen? Are you driving with your eyes shut? Yup! What’s the problem? I often take a nap and you’ve never complained before… 🤣 Laughter is divine right?

Lol “Divination Driving!” I did actually shout that the other week when I hit a road closure, followed diversion signs which just dumped me in the middle of nowhere lost in the dark on dirt tracks… Satnav telling me to u-turn back to the closure… Oh FFS! Divination Driving! No idea how I got to where I had to get to nor how I still managed to get there on time… 🤣
