Tarot Birth Identities: The Eights

Welcome to my Tarot Birth Card Identity Blog!  This blog is intended to be a simple overview of Tarot Birth Cards, a casual and concise walk-through of the groupings of Birth Cards to express some of the ways that they can contribute vital components to identity.  Also, I will layer in Birth Card Preludes to express the whole of each Birth Card grouping in a short statement.  I find that these Preludes, as I like to call them, are best stated as triggers to remind one how the Birth Cards can integrate an overall expression of a Birth Card combo in a single voice.  Enjoy finding your own path with these, and I look forward to hearing your own, personal “trigger” Preludes and Birth Card thoughts directly composed from your feeling-sense of them.  Have fun with ’em!

Note also how these Birth Card expressions and Preludes factor in to hook up and work with my videos like the upcoming Eights Elevate & Exalt video on my YouTube channel . Enjoy the correspondences of the numbers as they flow back and forth between the Major Arcana in the Birth Cards and each of the suits of the Minor Arcana and Courts in the videos. Also, again, I encourage you to have some fun and come up with Preludes on your own for the Aces through the Tens, and as well the Royal Court characters. In The Land of Mystereum the Courts are Your Royal Courts . . . so enjoy taking ownership of your Tarot Birth Cards in YOUR own way!

So, let’s get started with the Eights Land of Mystereum-style, shall we?

THE STAR ~ STRENGTH
XVII ~ VIII  ::  17 ~ 8
Note that Justice is VIII in Mystereum with Strength as XI. So, you may find that a STAR ~ JUSTICE pairing fits you more personally. It all depends on how you roll with YOUR Tarot sequencing.  Lots of hullaballoo around VIII & XI, 8 & 11 in Tarot discussions . . . some good, some great, some not-so much.  Some say one system is older and therefore sets a precedent.  Others say oh NO that canNOT BE!  Oh well. I will simply let the karma run over the dogma on that. In Mystereum it’ll ALL depend on which way strikes a chord to resonate with you.  Might I suggest to be just as aware of a prover as you are of what they are proving?

Depending, some reasons may be unreasonable, and some people make too much sense to argue with . . . even when they make that much sense and are SO on the other side of the universe about an idea. . . or, maybe that simply me.  Anyway, my li’l diplomatic rant’ll end there 😀   I look forward to express THE STAR ~ JUSTICE as a pairing in a future blog.  Here I will express the Star ~ Strength Birth Card Grouping . . . and that in itself should settle any tizzies down that are going on about which is which, at least maybe long enough to read this blog? . . . as I mentioned up there, Justice is VIII, 8 in Mystereum . . . but, my nod here the other way in no way says GOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like on Soccer TV for either. I simply made a decision to play a different station today.  Hopefully FM in stereo. . . or a really high quality 8-track of Willie & Waylon.  Shotgun Willie!

OK, pipes blown out, let’s REALLY get started with the Eights Birth Card Grouping Land of Mystereum-style.

THE STAR ~ STRENGTH
XVII ~ VIII  ::  17 ~ 8
Note how the numbers of these cards add up to 8, and thus correspond with the Eights in general, and the (upcoming) Eights Elevate & Exalt video on my ‘Jordan & The Land of Mystereum’ YouTube Channel .

8’s Birth Card Prelude: With The Star ~ Strength as your Birth Cards you may often experience the clear strength of your own natural, inner animal in your voice that brings you wits and eternal hope as you continually find your cosmic groove and go for it.

See how this simple Prelude statement expresses the 2 characters as facets of one personality?

~ Strength ~ you may often experience the clear strength of your own natural, inner animal in your voice that brings you wits

~ The Star ~ and eternal hope as you continually find your cosmic groove and go for it.

~ Notice the cross-over overlappage in the mixed order of the single, integrated Prelude statement that can be gifted by the 2 cards.  Integration in these kinds of Prelude statements may very well indicate that things are rarely simply put in line like dominoes disconnected yet set to fall.  With integration of concepts imaginatively, things are incorporated, incorporated like a well-made 3-day rue is folded into and simmered into a gumbo.  Certainly not two things once served up.  They mix and blend and contribute inter-locking strengths.  Is something new made by teaming things up this way? Maybe as well that is how metaphor is made . . . like Paul Eluard expressing (often attributed to Andre Breton), The world is blue, like an orange.

~ Strength as indicating not to tame the beast, but control of one’s natural, inner animal? One’s instincts utilized as easily as speaking? The power of voice? That if you unsync with your own inner animal you . . . (insert “when Animals Attack” graphic)?

~ The Star as light traveling across eternity to reach you at every moment? To blink and wink at you? Hope in the dark? The black spot on a yin-yang symbol is more than just a beauty mark.  The white dot?

The Star card can represent your Outer Expression.  This is how most people may ‘see’ you in the world.  The Star card is known for its ability to show you your resonant, celestial groove and the eternal hope that drives you to chime in and follow it. With the Star card as your Outer Expression maybe you are represented by the the cosmic ways you direct yourself.  Know that hope is eternal.  Keep sight of that to dispense with anxiety altogether.  Is anxiety emotional refraction?  The Star smoking hope, illusory?  Hmm, Hope doesn’t grow in the dirt. The Star doesn’t suggest to smoke hope, the narcotic of hope. The Star has faith in dreams. 3 Doors Down for some dreams, anyone? Here without you, The Star, even when the only light in the sky, is never alone. At least very least it is immersed in the wonderful depths of it expansive Shadow all around it giving context. How do YOU swim and immerse in what is all around you. Like The Sun, you are also The Star in your life. Invest in yourself. I hear it lasts a lifetime. ~ unknown.

Falling in love with yourself doesn’t make you vain or selfish, it makes you indestructible. ~ Unknown

Being self-centered doesn’t necessarily make you vain or snooty. It simply indicates you are centered. And, the center isn’t necessarily in the middle. ~ Jordan Hoggard

Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks inside awakens. ~ Carl Jung

Strength can represent your Inner Expression.  This may be a side of you that only your closest family and friends ‘see’. Strength as your Inner Expression may symbolize that you have a natural power to tune both your voice and your silences.  Is your voice like music and the space between the notes silence, both beautifully orchestrated together?  With Strength you may have a natural ability to develop and speak ideas with a perfect pitch as you modulate the tenor of your expressions like weather washing through. Remember that icky anxiety up there?  May emotions wash through you like weather, like they do with an animal.  If the water’s bad, let it go, and certainly don’t drink it kinda thing.

The Land of Mystereum can provide tools to re-focus the emotional refraction of anxiety. Try it and see. You can get yours at Amazon .

And, back to the order of this blog, your The Star ~ Strength Birth Cards.

To put them back together again in an Evolved Prelude = minus card names: You may often experience the clear strength of your own natural, inner animal in your voice that brings you wits and eternal hope as you continually find your cosmic groove and go for it.  Note the cards are intentionally not mentioned in this second Prelude. They are not really missing, though.  Are they simply and vitally present like the color of your eyes? As embedded and contributory features? Or, is an Evolved Prelude what you come up with when you utilize the cards as counsel, and then make your own decision . . . where it becomes not a “they told me. . .,” but a statement of your own that you supports you? I feel an Evolved Prelude has cut the strings, unlocked the docking clamps like on Star Trek.  You can feel the float, or, enGAGE!

I hope you have enjoyed this The Star ~ Strength Birth Card Identity Blog, and find it useful in your process as you further explore and enhance and express your own, personal Tarot voice!  Tarot in the Land of Mystereum is all about the life-long process of emancipating your Tarot voice in YOUR way.  Teachers are rockin’, gurus not so much.  I remember i a meeting someone telling me there was no I in team.  You have to laugh when someone else chimes in, “There’s no U, either.”  There certainly is U in gurU.  With your eternal hope and naturalized Star ~ Strength inner-animal voice narrating your way, rather than being created in the image of . . . you may well know how much we each HAVE the face of . . .

Hmmm, ever heard of the book Animal Speak by Ted Andrews.  Great book!  I highly recommend it as wonderfully informative, and as well to use each animal as an Oracle card, elucidating animals as totems when they cross your path, enter your experience, whether as a companion, for a while, or simply passing through to say, “Hi. We noticed each other”.

But, thinking about Animal Speak  and your inner-animal and your clarity of voice just gave me an idea.  With your Star ~ Strength dynamic duo . . .  Are you your own living totem? Can you live as your own totem?  What occurs when there is a You-sighting?  What would you like people to feel in higher octaves when there is a You-sighting?

Thanks for your valuable time.  Much appreciated. If this article freed you up to be more you in ways only you can be like The Sun, I am grateful for that.

If this blog strikes chords that resonate with you, I encourage you to pass it along and spread the word.  Please share. Thanks mucho for your support!
‘Till next time.

    Jordan –

    You are sneaky! The Strength/Justice switcheroo never crossed my mind! Very conventional Tarotist here! You open up the process! 🙂

    Blessings,
